Our ceremony is at 3pm.

Meggers, I have an at home product from the dentist that is 16% peroxide, if I use it every night my teeth are very sensitive to hot and cold. So I only use it every second night. I'm trying to get into the habit of doing it now so I can avoid going for the in office treatment. I won't have time to do a consult and the treatment once I get back home :(

I'm a dental hygienist... you can use a sensitivity toothpaste (like sensodyne) while you are bleaching and it helps a lot.

Our wedding is at 6:00PM (sunset). We're doing pics beforehand of just us, as well as us & the wedding party to make sure they all get done. Pics with the family will be done right after the ceremony. I figure it should only take 10 min to do family pics, and I'd really rather they all have to wait until the wedding to see me :) hehe.

GREAT NEWS! Okay, so FI & I got my wedding ring today! Yay! We'd been having trouble finding something to match my E-ring that wasn't, well, almost as expensive as the E-ring was. We thought it shouldn't be a big deal to find one around the $300 mark but all the ones that matched were around a grand. WELL, we decided to take a peak today and found a jewelery store in the mall that was having a V-day Sale and low and behold they a ring that matched mine PERFECTLY... in yellow gold :(! But she called and they were able to order one in. The originally price, $650, marked down to $299!! More than half price!! Yay! While we were paying I also noticed that they had gorgeous white gold princess cut diamond studs regular $399 for $190. ONE PAIR LEFT. FI smiled and said "Do you want them as a Valentines Day present?"... We've never really celebrated Valentines Day. Mostly because our "dating anniversary" is mid-March. We just went all out for that. But this year he's going to be gone all weekend at a concert out of the city with a friend (this March will be our 9 years dating. Craziness). I think he feels a little bad.

Also, we're putting an offer in for a house on Monday. It's a little smaller than I would have hoped but it's beautiful. The outside is a little quirky, but the inside is completely flipped. If anyone is interested:

The worst part is bidding wars are insane here in Winnipeg so it will probably go for closer to $250,000. Ugh.... Either way, I think we're going to offer around $230 and see what happens :)

Mocha~ if you already have sensitive teeth than you're probably better off with the home stuff anyway! They make great at home treatments now a days and there are often groupons for at home kits too! I picked up some whitestrips for when I go to the tanning salon. Just put them on before you get in the tanning bed and you're good to go! One of my bm's has the whitest teeth I've ever seen and she swears by it! This may be old news but you girls should check out Group Buy United. It's a site that lists the deals from all of the groupon type deals fir the day in one place! Tris~ congrats on the ring AND the place. I can't even imagine wedding planning and house hunting at the same time... They're both so stressful! Best of luck with the offer process, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
    • So we are currently looking for an all inclusive resort for the wedding. We have 60 guests and found all the Dreams resorts as options and all of them gave us a quote and discounted price since it’s off season etc. Resorts in Punta Canta gave us a reasonable price, Dominicus gave us a really good deal then La Romana Resort and Spa gave us their regular price and so hard to negotiate. Will someone tell us how special is this resort that they won’t give us a good discount when all my guests are staying in their resort for 5-8 days. We are bringing $$$ in their resort and not give us a discount?  What is so special with this resort?  Can somebody recommend a beautiful resort?
