  1. I am sooooo blown away by Paula & Damian of Sun Gold Photography that there are no words~ I'm totally speechless (which rarely happens to me, lol)!! They are the nicest photogs, super talented & super hardworking- even my guests commented on there undying attention of me & my hubby! I would HIGHLY suggest them to anyone...photos were so important to me, so the best choice I made was hiring them (and marrying DH So... here's the slideshow!! http://www.sungoldphoto.com/blog/index.php/2011/08/30/a-story-about-the-storeys/
  2. Just wondering because I tried to organize a "Family & Friends Jamaica Trip" a couple of years ago. I gave over a years notice, contacted the resort and arranged for an awesome group rate. Contacted the airline and arranged for a group rate...set up a payment plan with people for something like $75 a month...set up a google cart on our online website so people could even make deposits with credit/debit cards...sent out monthly customized "magazine" type mailers. Soooo many people were on the bandwagon to go and wouldn't you know they all bailed?! So, now with my wedding planned for April 2011, I want to send out STD's in January which will give everyone 15 months notice to save like $60 a month. FI and I are paying for everyone's first night at Tensing Pen as well as something on the Catamaran, so I want to know if sending STD's in January is too early?
  3. Although I'm not getting married until April of 2011, I have completed the following: Picked wedding colors (turquoise, orange, and bronze), found a wedding site (Tensing Pen in Negril), completed the layout for my boarding pass STD's, completed my enclosure letter for the STD's, started my wedding website, contacted the WC at my resort, will be making payment to secure the resort in January 2010, broke down complete costs per person for their entire stay at each of the 2 resorts, contacted an airline regarding options for group rates... whoo! All while working 12 hour days, lol! I guess past skills as an event planner are paying off!
