My resort charges to have them delivered to each room as well, although this would be the best way - I'm not into paying an additional fee for this. I have a few guests (mostly family) arriving on Thurs they will be getting their bags that day when we all meet for dinner, everyone else arrives on Friday and we are having a meet and greet that evening and will hand out everyone else's that night.

(Maybe I'm just thinking too much!) lol
      HI Island Bride,

How are you personalizing the Bubba Kegs? Are you having it done professionally or doing it yourself? Also are you using a logo or putting everyone's names on them? I am trying to figure out what I want to do with them.

      Thanks!!

I don't want to travel with my bags they are big ( I went a little over board with them :)) and I don't know how I will even pack 30 of them on the plane. Do you think it is bad if I hand them out before we leave? We are planning a potluck supper a week before we go so all the people can meet each other.

I think it's a great idea! I am doing the same sort of thing. My guests kinda are scattered all over so we won't get to see them all right before we go. I plan to ship them a week before with a pre travel brochure....with travel tips- call your credit cards, cell phones to add international...blah blah blah. Then they can pick and choose maybe they already bought something of the same and they don't want to travel with it, that's up to them.

But I am afraid the shipping costs to send them to everyone! Luckily I'm only doing one bag per couple!

Maybe I'm just a bit paranoid but I don't trust just leaving it in their room. Like you said, they may switch rooms, someone may rifle through the bags, etc. I feel if I give them out, everything will be there and I know everyone will get theirs!

good point about the upgrades at check-in. I hadn't thought of that! I will have to talk to our WC and see what the best option is. I was thinking of having them hold them at the front desk and hand them to guests at check-in.

Our hotel charges $3 per room for bag delivery. We are thinking of leaving their bags w/the front desk and having them get them at check-in.

Still trying to figure this one out myself. I think our hotel charges to have them delivered to the room. So might try and have the front desk hand them out at check-in or go hand them out ourselves as our guests arrive.
