There was only one muggy, super hot day and it rained for about 20 minutes in the evening so that explained the mugginess. The rest of the time it was probably in the high 80's? There is a nice breeze. I don't think it was overly windy, just enough to keep you cool. But we did tuck my veil into the back of my dress during the ceremony so it wouldn't be in my face. There was also one day when you could feel the wind whip the sand from the beach onto the pool area. If you're really worried, maybe you can bring oil blotting sheets?

I am glad there is a nice breeze, I need it! Yeah, I bought some of this powder my makeup artist back home suggested. She said it should take the shine away. I don't have a veil but I am wondering if I should pull back my bangs so it doesn't get blown all over my face but most of my wedding is indoors except cocktail hour.

So I wanted to share what I got from Etsy for my wedding dress. I love it and I think its my new go to gift for all my friend's wedding showers. I <3 ETSY!

I LOVE this hanger! It could be a super cute bridesmaid gift too... with just the girl's name in the hanger...

What is the powder your makeup artist suggested?  I have a very oily face as well.

Just got back from my wedding on May 6th! All I have to say is it was better than I could have imagined. I was kinda stressed before we went because we hadn't heard from the wedding coordinator in a awhile and they had to assign us to a new one one week before the wedding because she had surgery. It seemed like a mess. When we got there, everything was taken care of and we basically sat down with the wedding  coordinator and went over everything. We probably could have planned the wedding right then and there and have had to email back and forth 100 times. Ha! The weather was beautiful too. It was hot, but there was a good breeze (not too windy though). Everyone had a blast and it was so relaxing. You guys will have the best time.

Great idea! One of my bridesmaid saw it yesterday and said I want one too. The etsy seller was Twistedwords. She was so easy to work with. I wanted the lilyfrance one that is in all the mags and the knot.com but she was too busy but I am happy with this one b/c I could make it all girly with the hot pink.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
