I'm a 2011 bride, 11/11/11 to be exact. I have over a year to go and I just want it to get here already. I am getting married at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites and I hope that it will be a beautiful day.

Congrats to all the 2011 brides!!!

Welcome! There is so much great information here. Wish I had found this site before we did a lot of our planning, learning a lot after the fact.

Nikki- found lots of butterflies today on my search, but no starfish :(  I will continue to keep my eyes open and let you know!

Hey Mrsgreene.... To be honest i love the Iberostar more than FI did, but over the last few years when we have been on hols, we have stayed in Iberostar properties and dont get me wrong we both LOVED them all but when it came to getting married we both wanted something different, something that we'd both never experienced before and we'd heard a lot of good things about the RIU properties so decided to check them out, and The Palace just stood out a mile & more for us :-) x

Go with your heart mrsgreen, thats the best thing to do..... your prob just having 2nd thoughts due to being on here and everyone talking about all these beautiful resorts and it just makes it so difficult :-) xo

Thanks Murmel... No worries, Thank you so much for looking though.... :-) xox

One of the other UK girls got quoted $18 dollars from another site you can get then so i need to have a proper look on there, to see if i can order anything else i need aswel, to get my shipping worth :-) but i can certainly justify $18 more than $50... Watch this space x

Thanks!. You are right. There are so many beautiful resorts sometimes it can get overwhelming. My FI and I have stayed at the RIU in the Bahamas and loved it, but wanted something a little different for our wedding and i honestly fell in love with IRHS. I know deep down I made a good choice. Our weddings will be beautiful for both of us. :-)

Congrats and happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
