I can't even remember when I started to work on our STD, but it was months ago! This project dragged on forever based on quite a few different things (such as delays in getting our booking info from the resort, my mad skills at procrastination, my OCD with details, issues with the printer...). Anyhow, I wanted the STD to be done a long time ago, and when it became clear that this was not going to happen then at least I wanted to have them done by the end of the year. They were mailed on the 31st of December, so we made it just in time!

I designed the tickets based on the boarding pass template by Aylee (Click the image to open in full size.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the end result, but I find that it wasn't really worth all of the work and the expense in the end. I would have cost just as much to pay a designer to do it all, so had I had to do it all over again, I'd do things differently! I will still most likely be designing the invitations, menus, etc myself, so we'll see if I really learned from my mistakes in the end!

I think you did a great job with those despite all the hiccups along the way!

They look great! My favorite is the outer envelope that says "Save the Date." I'm sure your guests will be delighted to receive these!

They look really nice, but also like a lot of work! I think I'm gonna splurge and pay someone to do mine...
