So I have a question about the birdcage veil.
I've seen them at all different lengths, and am wondering if the groom flips this veil like a traditional one when you have your first smooch??

I feel like this'd take some practice, as the veil is much more structured!

ditto to the question above. And I love how it looks so sophisticated!

                Jenn,
I'm keeping the veil at the tip of my nose so that it doesn't interfere with the 1st kiss

But I have seen brides flip it back for the reception, it actually looks really cute!

I was playing around with it again last night and I don't even think I need to attach the comb part necessarily, it really holds very well with just a few bobby pins.

So ladies, if you can find an 18" wide piece of netting, just pin it into place and attach your flower/feather fascinator on top.

It's super easy, I encourage everyone to try it!

I just ordered all my stuff on Ebay to make mine, so I hope it looks as good as yours does! I ordered way too much netting though, I think I got like 3 yards for 9 bucks! I'll be selling it here once I receive it!

Oh, and I'm making mine just cover my eyes on a diagonal I decided, also to avoid the whole kissing dilemma!

                  Thanks again for the DYI!
