We just got back and here is a sneak peak!! We had a great time!!!! Decided to not get the resort photographer as we heard mixed reviews so had a family member take pictures with our new camera.. very happy! so excited to share, were not posting or sharing any pics until after our AHR May 1st so I havent been able to show anyone!!

I had dress alterations today, here I am all pinned together. I loved it while I was there in person, now looking back at pictures, I am unsure. what do you guys think? I am planning on having my hair curled with a flower by my ear.

I am paying for my maid of honors dress, but only because I do not have bridesmaids and because I know she really cant afford the trip for our wedding but is still coming so i would like to help out.

When I told my dad that we were having a destination wedding, at first I didnt think he would even be attending as he is not much of a traveller, to my surprise he said he is going and asked right away who would be walking me down the isle... I said both of you will be and he was fine with that. I am much closer to my stepdad since he has raised me since I was 4 years old so I wouldnt have it any other way

I have found Vista Print to be very good. Quality has always been great for us. I have made post cards (STD), magnets, brochures as well, I am planning on making our at home reception invites on Vista Print as well!

My MOH is asking that I give her a hand in the shower, she is younger then myself and this will be her first wedding she she is standing in. Our wedding is in April, just wondering when she should plan the shower? should it be like a month before the wedding?

I am making luggage tags out of business cards from Vista Print. Question is, has anyone made them without using the plastic ID insert? I am on a tight budget now and thought they would be fine without the plastic, typically when you use the airline luggage tags they are not in plastic so ink rubbing off shouldnt be an issue I wouldnt think... I was thinking of hole punching the end and then attaching ribbon in our wedding colors... thoughts? Thanks

Hi Ladies, I found my dress a couple months ago, but have been storing it at my parents house so the finance would not take a look anyways, Here it is. Not the best picture quality as I took it myself with the camera on my phone but you get the general idea. Alterations in a few months, hopefully I can loose a few more lbs too (dont we all wish this)! PS. I found this dress for $289!!!

Hi there, if you were never sent a proof then how did you pay for the mugs? did you pay for everything upon pickup at the post office?

I decided to go with discount mugs as I only need 30 travel mugs made. I could have went with 4imprint since I am in Canada, but they have a min of 50, and I wanted to keep the cost down. So my question is, I went online, chose my mug, filled out the information and proceeded to the next step. I made sure to put special instructions that I would like a to see a proof prior to production to approve the look and font size. Then I pressed Okay... and everything disapeared, I just got a email with my order number, and thanking me for my purchase.. But i didnt give any payment information, do they send you the proof prior to paying? is that how they work??

Hi Everyone, were planning on having mugs made at Discount Mugs for our guests, just wondering what wording you put on yours? did you include your name's? any cute little sayings or suggestions? so far I was just thinking our names around a palm tree, the wedding date and thank you perhaps? Does anyone have pictures of how their mugs turned out at discount mugs? thanks!!!

Hey everyone, I decided to do a trial and to my surprise it actually was too easy to make! Here's a picture, All i used was dollar store tissue paper and had no issue with rips at all.

Here's mine, it was passed down in the family, starting with my great grandmother who was given it on her 25th wedding anniversary. I love it.
