I need this vacation I am so tired, I never, ever stop. I really want to breath our wedding in, I didn't want to wish it to just be over just so I could rest. I am going to read, and relax and enjoy my family, and then I will wake up the day of my wedding and be rested and relaxed and finally marry the man I have called my "husband" for the past 7 years. Can't wait it's almost time!!

We're coming in on Monday before our Saturday wedding. We actually have guests arriving as early as Tuesday, but the majority won't be there until Wednesday or Thurdsay.

We leave on Sunday, day after the wedding to head back to DFW, and we leave for our honeymoon on Monday! We'll be exhausted but ready to get to Belize!

We arrive the Tuesday before our Saturday wedding. We are leaving the Monday after. We are planning on going on our honeymoon the second week in January. Our guests are all coming at different times. Some of them are making this trip a long vacation and even getting there before we do!

Also, if you haven't already, I would suggest seeing if the hotel will give you any nights free. Our hotel gave us 3 nights in the honeymoon suite for having ou wedding there! smile123.gif

We arrived Monday with our first 5 guests arriving Tuesday. The majority arrived on Thurday and we stayed and additional week. I totally recommend staying extra days, as many as you can get. Hosting your group is fun but also work in itself. It's good to have that downtime and truly vegetate and enjoy one another. Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
