I liked my dress but now I LOVE it!

Recommended Posts

Don't get me wrong....I'm happy I bought the dress but I just wasn't sure it was me. My BM's were in tears when they saw me but it didn't feel like "the ONE". I just took the dress in to be bustled so I don't trip on the train and break my neck in my nice 4" heels. My seamstress is a genious! She did a fast under-bustle or french bustle and the entine bottom of the dress changed immediately! I LOVE it now! Amazing what one little buton can dosmile29.gifsmile29.gifsmile123.gif

I'll post pics when I get it back on the 18th of September.

Awwww, yea Anita!

So glad you feel at ease, and now have that feeling of 100% certainty that you've made the right decision! Sometimes just revisting your dress during a fitting, or making one or two simple alterations can give you that all-important confidence that every bride should have in her one-and-only wedding gown!

Thrilled for you, love! Can't wait to see how much you'll be glowing in your pics after the 18th.... wink.gif

I know what you're saying about friends, and how they can get you all wrapped up into thinking it's the perfect dress, but you as the bride have that gutt feeling that it isn't. I had 4 of my girls come with me the first time i went dress shopping, and totatly regretted it. everyone has a say so, and a opinion. So, when i went back to order my dress. I went back with just my mom.. I knew my dress was the one when i pulled it over my knees. Once it was zipped up, i didn't want to take it off! Your girlfriends know you.. But your mother always knows you better.

Glad to hear you LOVE your dress! I can't wait for the pics!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
