Hey, I'm in for season 7 as well! I'm getting fat! lol

The daily challenges were posted by different members of the contest each day toward the end of season 6. They would be things like goal for the day: drink only water today, or do 100 crunches and 100 push-ups or do 45 minutes of cardio today. They weren't anything official in the contest, just a great way for us to keep each other motivated.

I've participated in the past few seasons and I have to agree with Jackie, it was frustrating when 30 people would sign up for the contest and only the same 6 people would post to the thread each week. The best part of the contest is learning what others are doing to be successful and/ or hearing from people who know what you're going thru when you're having a bad day/ week. I don't know if that will happen this time since there isn't any money involved so those signing up are really here for weight loss and motivation.

p.s.~ I think the dates for this contest are great! It will stop some of my crap eating at all those holiday parties at the beginning of Dec.

I am definitely interested!! I've been trying to lose the same 30 pounds or so for a few years, so this will be a kick in the behind to get moving! The daily challenges interest me, and are things that will help everyone :)

Sign me up, I can't wait to get started! September 23rd will be a difficult day for me, since FI is leaving for a pro-hockey tryout (he's a pro athlete), so seeing him off, waiting for him to find out where he is going (so that I may join him) and not knowing when I will see him next is not going to be easy! I know you ladies will help me through it though :) YAY BDW!

I'm interested in participating as well!

Ginalyn - Would it be possible for me to use my current weigh-in day # and just take a pic of it that day and send it to you on wednesdays? The reason I ask this is because I'm on a diet that involves carb cycling and usually by mid-week (wednesdays) my weight is very different than my usual saturday weigh-in date. Please let me know what you think of this. Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
