Hello Ladies!

 

Wow, so much in such a short time.

 

Krista-your dress looks amazing and you look radiant in it, you are beaming! It is getting so close, I am so excited for you! you are right, gettting to the airport and the whole nine yards is such great anticipation, just remember to enjoy all of it, from the little things to the big day!

 

Chris-Your story is hilarious! You crack me up! I know what you mean about the exhaustion, just be sure to get your rest!

 

Teshy-13 weeks! That is amazing! We just had our 17 week scan and it was amazing (will write more in a min)

 

Brooke-I can't believe you felt the baby, mine is moving around like crazy and I think that I am feeling her, but I am not always sure, I just really think so because it is such a different feeling.

 

Overall, we are doing well. Like I mentioned, we had our ultrasound on Friday (17 weeks on Saturday) and found our we are having a girl. It was funny because the technician first said, I am 90% it's a girl, and I look at husband and said well, you have a 10% chance of a boy still, and the technician says, yeah, I am pretty sure it is a girl! IT was funny...But the pics were amazing, we saw her heart, her kidneys, all her arm and leg bones, brain, hands, and face. It was funny because she was moving all around, the technician was even saying she was already a mover and shaker (just like her parents :)

She is 6 oz and about the size of my palm. We are just elated and over the moon, I get so happy just thinking about her. We have already shopped for a few fun cuddly toys and a cute hat with a big flower on it!

And you ladies with the boobs, I am with Krista, I do not need anymore boobage. My origibal 34DD's were a little bigger in the first few months but have settled down a bit in the last two months, I am hoping they don't increase, but I know that the reality with breastfeeding is that they will I am just hoping that it isn't much, but I guess they can help set off the imbalance of belly weight and have less back pain! ha ha!

 

Anyways, hope everyone is having a great weekend and all the father's are having a wonderful father's day!

Hey guys! Hope you all had a good weekend. Brooke that is so exciting! I can't wait for that feeling. Amazing! Breens congrats on your little girl!!! I think they won't say 100% just to cover their asses, lol America is a sue happy nation, I could just see it unfold in court, 'but you said we were having a girl!!!' lol *not you guys of course.

 

Today I am 7 wks 2 days to be precise, lol We told my dad yesterday who in turn told my brother and aunt. He called us threes times yesterday he was so excited. It was a nice turn of events because his reaction when I first told him was pretty detached (remember I live a million miles away)... I guess after letting the realization sink in that his little girl was going to be a mommy he is pretty over the moon. It's cool because my parents are coming in a month for a week so it will be nice to see them. I am just really nervous and focused on getting through these next 5 weeks. I have been having some spotting which concerns me, and it never lasts more than a couple hours. TMI but it happens AFTER we have sex (particularly if I climax)... so my husband isn't too worried because he says- there is a pattern. But it worries me. I especially don't want to have the kind of pregnancy where I can't exercise and stuff (sex!) but I'll roll with the punches. My priority of course is a healthy baby.

I have my first doctor's visit today so I'll be sure to ask her tons of questions. I am stressed to be leaving work for so many hours because no one here knows. My appt. is at 11:30am which means I'll have to leave at 11am and I am sure I won't be back before 3pm. :s My boss is in Florida, and I told my co-worker that I was going to see an allergist! LMAO

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
