Krista you can read and feel your excitement.... I can tell you it gives me flashbacks of how over the top I was before my wedding... I am sure the rest of the Feb brides feel the same... So happy you joined our thread!!!! Congrats on getting to your goal.. you'll be one smoking bride

 

Ali sounds like your trip was amazing...Sorry about your neighbour... It happened to me about 10 years ago my babysitter die at 19 years old... she lived across the street from us. Very hard to explain to my son he was 10 and he kinda had a crush on her. Very and took along for everyone in our neighbourhood to get over it.

 

Brooke thanks for the book suggestions... I read more in the summer because I sit around the pool. I have wrote those titles down for future reads.... BTW "shut up", you look amazing!!!!!!!

Chris honey what can I say... Holy Crap... I mean "holy crap already".... sorry that's mean!!!! nothing worst than that feeling... feel better chickie!!!!!

 

This weekend is Canada day weekend... We have a long weekend... Today is the actually holiday however most people are taking Thursday Friday off aswell. I am working today "off course".... Off tomorrow and just having family over for a barbque.

Next weekend I am having a big party here at my house for a friend its her 45th bday and she also changed careers over the past year. Not to mention she had the gastric bypass done a year ago and she has lost 167 lbs. So a celebration of her sucess and achievements. I have about 30 ladies coming..... it'll be fun.. she has no idea... I even got several of the ladies she has met through support groups coming... Oh and a very nice email from her surgeon. (I can't spell today)... It'll be so much fun...She told me a few years ago that she would never have a bday party because she was so fat and didn't want the attention. She loves the attention now hehehehehe.

Okay ladies!!! This will probably be my final post before I leave!!! Tomorrow is pack like crazy (I have some done, but I will be checking and double checking my lists)! LOL! I've posted my planning thread and accomplished some last minute shopping - feels good to have lots of stuff done! I have my mani/pedi tomorrow too! :)

 

I will miss you gals while I'm gone and I'll try to pop onto facebook or BDW while I'm away. When I return, I'll finally be a MRS! It feels like it's gone by so quickly! I remember back in January when I first met all you wonderful ladies, and thinking, JULY IS SO FAR AWAY!! And now it's here!! :) woot.gif

 

Thanks for all the love and support! I can't wait to share my pics and stories with you all when I get back.

 

Sue, have a wonderful weekend and party - congrats to your friend! That's an amazing accomplishment, she should be proud!

 

Ali - glad to hear you got back safe! What a scary experience! And I'm so happy you had a wonderful trip - dolphins sounds amazing! So jealous! Sorry to hear about your neighbor too.

 

Too all our preggers Feb brides - take care and keep coming with the wonderful stories! I love living vicariously through all of you! :) By the time I have my go at it, you'll all be pros and able to give me lots of advice! Chris - I will try my hardest to find your bracelet for you. :)

 

Timberly - we missed you!!! Glad to hear you are doing well! Hows your little girl doing?

 

Tricia - glad to hear things are going well for you! This is an exciting time in your life as well! New opportunities! :)

I remember when my day seemed so far away. Have a great time Krista!!!

 

I would love to go away, I'm thinking with weather that feels as hot as 41C (105.8F) we don't need to go away!! Although having someone bring me drinks would be nice!! :)

Krista-- OMG!!!! Its finally here and I am soooo excited for you! I can't wait to see photos and to hear all about it! Remember to stop and enjoy time with your husband that day because it goes by sooooo fast!

 

To the rest of you ladies- Hope you had an amazing weekend... I did go down the slip and slide after all with my girlfriends. I will try to put up the video- it was soo fun!

Good morning ladies, it is another hot and sticky day here in Ontario... You could not breathe outside yesterday it was so hot. I know shut up I have a pool, and it has been full for days. Our neighbours all have kids from toddlers to teens and in the past few days they have all been over for a swim... Makes all the stress of the spring and the money we spent to have it repaired worth it.

 

I am so excited for Krista, brings back those tingles of the day before my wedding and the giddy feeling that "it's my turn". Thanks for being there gals and keeping me sane...

 

For those watching World Cup "let's go HOLLAND"....

I am so excited for Krista!!!! I'd love to be doing this all over again. Actually, we finally got our marriage cert. from Mexico in the mail so hopefully in a couple weeks we'll be legit! LOL

Yay Krista!!!! Have an awesome trip and an awesome wedding, and Congrats!!!

 

I've been gone the past week, visiting my parents at their summer place in Ontario and having our 2nd AHR in Michigan. The party was fantastic -- it was great to see extended family and old friends. Now it's back to reality...

 

Hope everyone had a Happy Canada Day and a Happy 4th of July!!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
