What are you going to do with your stuff after the wedding, since we are using the same colors maybe I can take it off your hands?

For those of you bringing rose petals for the ceremony, are you buying silk or freeze-dried? You might want to check with your resort if it's ok to use silk. I read somewhere on this forum that some resorts like to be eco-friendly and don't recommend scattering silk petals on the ground. They may end up in the ocean and that's not good :) I plan on buying freeze-dried petals. They are more expensive than silk ones though

Surprisingly, pretty much nothing!

Programs, escort cards, guestbook... We are renting candle centerpieces and tablecloths from the resort. For favors, we're purchasing maracas from the market when we get to Mexico!

This week, I am going to try and put together budget-friendly OOT bags for our guests. It's not possible for us to make an elaborate bag, but I'd still like a token of appreciation for our guests :)

True girls! I personally think you shouldn't do them anyway (on the beach) unless you are picking them all up! Take care of our fragile environment!

Also keep in mind depending on where you are going but you may not actually be able to bring freeze-dried petals into that country!

I'm planning on taking centerpieces for 4 tables,
programs,fans for ceremony
OTT bags
starfish place cards,

Hopefully, that's it... don't know how I'm going to get it all there yet.

I LOVE your rose balls! So they came just like that and you changed the ribbon? Can I ask how much they were? Do they have other colors?

Thanks! The hooks fit nicely in a pilot case and I plan to pack as much as possible in one suitcase and then spread the rest out amongst my family.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
