    Thanks Christa!

Sarah, it's nice to know I'm not alone! I guess we'll have to learn a lot from the other ladies before we get married!

Oh I love this thread - thanks Christa! I don't know anything about makeup.

No prob! One of my girlfriends is a Mac makeup artist. I used to be pretty makeup illiterate too. She makes it fun to get made up - and with her tips/tricks it's a lot easier than I ever thought.

Christa, Is this something you're suppose to wear under foundation or instead of foundation? Honestly I don't wear any of it and I'm totally make-up illiterate as well!

You wear it under makeup or under powder.

Very cool! Sounds like somethings I'll have to try out. Thanks, Christa for the info. I also have large pores and my makeup has a difficult time staying where it's supposed to!

I use the Cover FX primer every time I put on make-up, basically everyday, lol. It's awesome and apparently (according to my dermatologist) it's truly one of the only lines out there that is good for your skin, and doesn't clog pores.

                  Smashbox Photofinish Light!

It gives your face a smooth even surface for the makeup. There is definitely a difference in the way your foundation looks and durability throughout the day.

Get a few samples from Sephora and see which you like best! I love Smashbox, but going to explore and try Laura Mercier next time.

I use Smashbox Photo Finish Light. I use the "light" because I have oily skin and this stuff is awesome. I honestly have fewer breakouts when I use this stuff. And they offer a smaller travel size at Sephora so you can try it out without making the commitment of buying the full size bottle.

I have never tried any of these before but will definitely be checking them out! I am so worried about my face melting on the big day. This might sound like a 'duh' question, but do you have to get matched for your skin colour or is it like a lotion that blends in?
