When are you getting married?

Don't get me wrong, I totally understand why you all are doing it and we even considered it, but being from Canada I don't think the process is that diffucult and especially being from Quebec... no one here changes their names anyway. So it's just a matter of translating the certificate and being registered with the Governement. Takes a couple months and a couple hundred dollars. Going to the courthouse isn't free... so no matter how you look at it there is an added cost any route you go.
Good luck and congrats to everyone!

we decided to do it this way out of ease. with just doing a symbolic ceremony in mexico, we get to skip a lot of the legal red tape: translating birth certificates and divorce decrees into spanish, the blood tests and extra stress and fees!
i'm just trying to decide which day we'll want to celebrate as our anniversary - maybe both?!

We are getting "Legally Not Single" this weekend in Vegas!! Wooohoooooo!!! We are still emphasizing that Mexico is our real wedding. Anyone that says any wedding words (bride, groom, wedding marriage, etc.) while we are in Vegas has to take a shot - bwahahaha )
