the cake was AMAZING!!!! 2 different flavors...it was delicious AND gorgeous...here is a pic:

I served filet and lobster. Our rehearsal dinner was very simple. White linens, white chairs, white flowers. We brought our own hot pink table runners. Don't be nervous, they will do a great job!!!! Sorry I have not sent pics yet...I am still editing. It has been a nightmare!!! I had about 50 people there...here is a pic of the rehearsal dinner set up...

The onsite people set everything up! I am sure he followed them around to make sure he approved, but they literally worked their butts off!!!!! They will do anything you need them to do. He worked sooooo hard for me, BUT if he hadn't been there, the resort would have handled everything. They are amazing!

DJ at the resort! one of the BEST decisions I made! He was AMAZING!! Everyone had a blast!

haha Wendy! I JUST got my pictures back this week. Can you believe that?!?!? I am in the process of getting them uploaded to a gallery...I will send them to you as soon as they are done! Should be done this weekend! Wendy is right girls...it really was PERFECT!!!!! You have no idea!!!! And Wendy is THE BEST TRAVEL AGENT EVER! We will use her for the rest of our lives. I 150% recommend her!

DO NOT do your ipod!!! That will be miserable. People will be changing the songs, and you will worry about it all night. Pay the $1300 and use the onsite DJ. He is WONDERFUL!!!!! I had my ceremony at the gazebo...it was breathtaking. I recommend having your ceremony there and maybe a cocktail party on the beach. We had our welcome party out there! It was a lot of fun! My reception was on the rooftop (Blancwind Terrace)...AHMAZING!!! I flew my own photographer in...www.laurenharrisphotography. Her pictures are great, but I do NOT recommend her!!!!!

I did a "loose" hair trial right before our Thursday night party, so my hair would be fixed AND I could see how they did. I think that's a good idea! The Spa at Le Blanc is one of the nicest I have been to. Make sure you spend some time there! Just wait on Diana! She will contact you 2-3 months prior...that is MORE than enough time! Trust me! We had 50 people (it was their largest wedding they have ever had there), but they were pro's!!!

Hey! I actually created the floral pattern myself using several different patterns. I used photoshop, powerpoint, etc to get the image just right!

I agree with her! I just got married there in August and my hair and makeup was pretty close to perfect!!! I would not go anywhere else or hire anyone to come in to do your hair and makeup. Everyone at the resort is SO SO SO SO nice and goes out of their way to make everything perfect. I think I would have felt guilty not using them!! Here is a picture of my hair and makeup close up...my hair even lasted until the next day for my trash the dress pics. And that was after lot's of dancing at Coco Bongo!

Ok girls, the DJ IS SO WORTH the $1300!!!! He really was amazing!!!!! His song selection was awesome, and everyone had a blast! I didn't give him ANY direction, and he did a fabulous job! All I gave him was my list of father-daughter, first dance, cake, etc. Everything flowed perfectly! Ok, about Melissa Gomez...if you thought she was your lifeline, then just wait for DIANA!!!! OMG, AMAZING!!!! Just wait til you are 2-3 months away from your wedding, and she will DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU! She will answer any questions you could possibly have! The entire staff will go out of their way to do anything you desire. They even went to costco and got us red bull one day after a long day at the pool...seriously!! Diana went to 5 stores looking for sparklers for me...I am telling yall, they are a FIRST CLASS RESORT! You have NOTHING to worry about! I promise I am posting my review soon...I was waiting on my wedding pics, and I FINALLY got them back!!!!!

Hey girls!!! I got married at Le Blanc in August and had about 50 guests! I PROMISE I will be posting a review soon...just been so busy. If you guys will make a list of questions, I will be glad to answer them. The resort is AMAZING and they will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to accomodate you, so don't worry if the miami office is giving you conflicting answers. You will get an on-site wedding planning (Diana) who is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS about 2-3 months before the wedding. You will do 99% of your planning at that time. Let me know how I can help!

Hey chong!! Ryan had a guest book made of our engagement pictures. If you are interested, lemme know, and i will get you the company's name that he used. It turned out gorgeous! My other thought was to have a little photo booth set up. Just get a cute polaroid camera and have people take pics of themselves and write a little note. You could do a video guest book as well. I also did the postcard thing. I put an addressed postcard in the oot bags and had everyone write a note and mail it back to us. However, out of 50 people, I've only gotten 3 back. Hope this helps!

Hi! I HIGHLY recommend Wendy Hicks. She is a BDW TA! She was AMAZING to work with!!!!!!! You should contact her asap. She will go above and beyond for you and your guests. After searching and searching and searching for a TA, she was by far the most knowledgeable, honest, and accommodating one I dealt with! Good luck!

Hey girls!!!!! I am back!!!!!! The past 2 weeks have truly been the most amazing weeks of my life!!!! Being married is the BEST thing in the entire world. Ryan and I are on cloud 9! Everything went perfectly during our wedding weekend, including the weather!! It was 80-85 and sunny everyday! We even got chilly at night! Whew!!!!!!! The wedding planners and staff at Le Blanc were a DREAM to work with and did everything they possibly could to make our weekend super special!! I will be posting a review very soon!! A few people have posted some pics and tagged me on facebook, so hopefully you are able to pull them up! I also set up a kodak account, so I will share that as soon as more pictures get uploaded from the guests. If you guys are looking for a honeymoon spot, I HIGHLY recommend Le Blanc. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! The people were so nice and the resort was fabulous!! I hope all the wedding planning is going great for you girls. Trust me, as soon as you step foot on the resort, you will not have a worry in the world!!!
