I just got an email from Gilda and she said she just finished doing my cd and will be sending it to me tomorrow by ups.

I really like Manuel and he has been so patient and kind with all of my emails and phone calls that I did today. So I know that he will cost more then Gilda but I'm going to go with him anyways....like his pictures a lot more, though I don't think I'll have as many places as Gilda would give me, but it's ok.

Or should I go with Gilda,

Sorry I'm bouncing back and forth right now. Haven't signed Manuel's contract yet. Gilda said she was going to make up my contract but hasn't sent it to me yet. She will be charging me for 2 hours $600 dollars.

Manuel will be charging me for 1 hour $500 but is also calculating 1/2 hour extra for travel and walking, and not charging me that extra 1/2 hour. So I'll have him for 1.5 hours for $500 and he has sent me his contract.

So who to choosehuh.gif?

Andrea I'm so happy for you that everything is going to work out. It usually does in some weird way. Glad to see you and Erik are doig well too.

I was super worried about you a few weeks ago. hug2.gif

And now I'm so excited to see the pictures! I think that's my favorite part on this site how we all share our pictures with eachother.

So I've decided to stay with Manuel, He has been dealing with all my phone calls and emails....i feel sorry for him :) LOL.

He also is willing to change date of engagement photo shoot to July 29th, since Erik might want to stay in La Paz a little longer.

So we're meeting him July 29th at 9am in cabo and later that day sad.gif we leave back to LA at 5:21pm so I'm thinking head to airport around 3pm or so.

I believe he will send me all photos and dvd by UPS when he finishes with them, since we are leaving that day.

Now I have to get off of work and head to bank to transfer him $250.

Horray, I'm excited.

Now I have to find a good photographer who can do my Sept. 1 wedding, and it's short notice too.

I'll see if Leigh is available.

I'm curious you girls talk alot of engagement photo shoots. Is this an American thing? I don't know of any one who does this here in the GTA, certainly none of my friends, and I don't hear talk of this practice (the little pic in the local newspaper doesn't count) anywhere I go. I can barely afford what I budgeted for the wedding photo's, I can't imagine throwing engagement pics in the mix lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
