I'm thinking something he can 'play' with, like a remote control helicopter or maybe an underwater camera (can get disposable ones for about $12). Or maybe some kind of water sports game?
That is a good idea. My FI can look into that. I like the underwater camera too.....Maybe I can find some retro archie comics or something as well.

If you think of something else please throw the idea out there - Thanks!

I was at Loblaws last night and bought some rafts for $1.87 each. They also had some waterwings left, not many though.

what about a book or those hand held games you can get at walmart for under $20.. like yahtzee, etc. they have all different kinds there. You could always go to toys-r-us and ask someone who works there what is popular with his age bracket too.

did you want your names on them? If so did you figure out a way to do that with the $ store mugs?

Tracy, you can get the paper insert one's, which I've bought 50 of them but I'm still not sure if I'm using...or if you get the metal or plastic ones you can print your logo on a sticker and apply it to the mug - there is a thread on here in the DIY section showing you how and which products she used and what worked and what didn't work:

And here's a link to the ones that I might be doing - I just did up a couple of quick designs to show a couple of other gals what I might do...I still have to tweak the designs a bit and I'm still debating on purchasing from discount mugs...but there's that whole customs charges thing...

the bottom one with the circles is all the different languages of all our guests attending...but I used an Online Translator and I don't trust it and probably won't go with that because it was coming up with different sayings every time!! So if they are wrong let's blame Google!!! lol

does anyone know where to get the expandable whitsle key chain things in Canada......The shipping alone is more than the darn things are worth...HELP I bought a bunch of bubba's and was thinking of attaching them on the mug somehow, so that my guests would be able to put their keys and tip money and not worry about leaving it behind in a drunken stuper!!!!! I am open to any sudgestions.....

Your mugs look great - I really like the first insert you did! What store did you get the mugs from?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
