The color in the original picture looks like a light color chiffon over a dark yellowish ivory.  I think the dress is very close to the original.  The color swatch for the color you chose looks brown to me.  The sash is more of a deeper champagne/orange.  Overall I think it is gorgeous and if they're going to give you a free bolero take it!

Good afternoon Ladies....

I just had to add my 2 cents in....

I just received yesterday...pictures of my knock-off wedding gown from JasminesBridalShop.com...let me tell you...It is fab!

I am at work right now and I will upload pictures of the dress and the actual when I get home.  The communication has been amazing.  I placed the order for my dress about 3 weeks ago.  They only have to complete the straps.  I searched online for weeks looking for a dressmaker and inquired to about 3.  Jasmine's bridal was the ONLY one that responded quickly.  I understand that we are in completely different time zones, so I expected some delay.  Let me tell you....James (my contact's name) is on point.  I would send him an email at 10:00 eastern standard time....he would respond by 10:30!  I have to say the service....has been outstanding! Their website is o.k....but they have a link to Facebook where they post pictures of dresses they have designed.  You have the option of getting premium grade (very close to the original) or designer grade (they use higher grade materials).  Now I know what you are thinking....why the difference?  Check out the site and you will see.  Just so happens, my gown did not have any beading detail that I was concerned about paying double (the designer grade gowns are double the advertised prices....still a great deal).  I will post my pics in a few....

Trust me ladies....anyone seeking to have a knock-off dress made should really check out jasminesbridalshop.com you will NOT be sorry!

Happy planning!

I'm still waiting for proof pics of my dress from babyonline.  I ordered the dress end of February - four times I've been told in the next week it will be ready.  One week ago it was nearly finished with just some beadings to be added.  I sure hope it's worth the wait.  Babyonline reps are very nice but they should get a handle on delivery times.

Ginger,

Wow I'm sorry to hear they've made you wait that long... I actually ordered my dress on the 5th of this month and was told that it would take them 20-25 days to make it, then yesterday they sent me these pics and more of what I requested today. I hope you get your dress soon and that it is worth the wait for you! I would be going crazy if I had to go through that, but I'm sure it'll work out for you... as they say good things come to those who wait cheesy.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
