  1. I purchased two of these dresses when I was married. I always wanted to renew my vows for my 5 years anniversary in the same dress. I am wearing the original dress in the first and second photos in a size 4. I sold that dress after the wedding. I thought I would be a 6 for my 5 year anniversary but that will not happen! Unfortunately, I am trying to find the same dress in an 8 or 10 now and have to let go of the 6. This is a very stunning dress! It is a trumpet/mermaid style with rouching that is easy to walk, sit, and eat in. Very flattering on all types. I've included other photos so you can how how it can be done up or left plain. Great button detailing down the back. The scoop neck if very flattering on small or larger busts. This dress is great for an hourglass figure. The bust measures This dress got 4.9 out of 5 stars on the website! More elegant and classic in person. http://reviews.davidsbridal.com/7294/6097386/final-sale-allover-draped-taffeta-trumpet-with-button-back-style-p9345-reviews/reviews.htm Allover draped taffeta trumpet with button back. Style P9345 Allover draped taffeta trumpet with button back. Sweep train. This dress was a best seller and still sells used for $250-$500! Google the used ones if you don't believe me. (http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/dresses/view/13542/David-s-Bridal-P9345-Size-6.html) Make and offer! I need to replace with the correct size. It is a true size 6 with tags still attached.
  2. Mainstays LED Tea Lights are flameless and safe! The flameless tea lights have no drips, no mess. Because they are battery operated candles, they are safe for use at the office or in a dorm room. A silicone flame gives these flameless tea lights an authentic appearance. These battery operated candles have an on/off switch. 4. THIS DRESS IS STUNNING! I had been looking forward to finding this dress and thought this size would work out but it won't! It is a Davids' Bridal Galina Signature Dress is ivory in a size 6. The dress has one bead that has come missing. You can find a replacement Michaels for under $3. You might want to have to dry clean the bottom of the dress underneath is slightly soiled (just dust). I do not misrepresent my items, I would clean it! This dress retailed for $1000.00 at David's Bridal, the dress has 17 ties for busseling they are all numbered you will have to replace a bussel or 2, but it's no big deal you can do it yourself the dress has a FRENCH bussel. I paid $500.00 to have it busseled. The dress has NOT BEEN ALTERED so it's a size 6 with no alterations The dress is a modern take on a traditional gown but has that romantic feel! Please ask all questions. . This dress is a princess a-line style in full but very light and flowy. It has a heavenly beaded band around us lately dropped waist and the first 11 tears of ruffle are accented with small find beating for a little extra bling. Please ask all questions I am moving and do not want to take this stress with me.
  5. I know that these situations can be frustrating. I think a lot of brides forget that you are buying a replica. It doesn't matter if they call it 80-90 or 95-98 it is not going to be just like the photos. Just ask them to put an extra wrap of fabric around the bottom for the transition to the skirt and it should look fine. If they can do that I would say the dress is beautiful and pretty close.
  6. Yes, it could be the mannequin. Keep in mind mannequins have front to back curves, not side to side like most women. As long as you're planning on having alterations done after I'm sure it will be fine. I, too, am curvy but petite. Get a good support corset or bustier either way and have it ready when you do your alterations. If you are larger busted and realy simply on the dress to hold you up it might let you down throughout the night. Good luck. It looks like they did a great job on the overall dress and I love the skirt!
  7. I have quite a bit of experience in clothing construction and what to explain a few things. The photo of the original uses horizontal shirring. It uses a slight angle on top underbust and may on the bottom but I can't tell from the photos. If you ordered the dress using your actual measurements, that is the size you will get the dress. If the professional dress "pulled" or "sucked' you in more this dress will not. One thing that is greatly lacking in almost all of the replica dresses is the structure. That is why on plus size replicas you see so much wrinkling and improper fitting. The companies that create the replicas use plastic boning but they do not create an internal structured corest then build the dress around that the way designer dresses are made. If you want more of the hourglass figure I would plan on getting the dress an inch or more smaller than actual size then plan on wearing a corset underneath for shape. The details you've given in the photo are good and I think will accent the hourglass shape you are looking for nicely.
  8. There are companies on DHgate now that post actual pics. Do a search for wedding dress actual pictures (or photos) and you will find some that post their real work. Even if it is not the exact dress you can get an idea of the quality.
  9. That was me! I bought one from babyonline with 3 1/2 months to go before my renewal and when they sent pics it looked nothing like the photos@! I cancelled and had to start over with someone else.
  10. The dress without a train you show does have an a-line style. The difference is that it was cut slightly on the bias for a more flowy effect and the replica dress is a straight cut. If you were to lay the dress out flat you would see a slight trumpet flair.
  11. For the gown tyr Rent-a-Tux and Gown. They will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel or chapel. They have many options and will do all of the alterations. Designer dresses included! They are located on Paradise in Las Vegas I believe. For ceremonies,... If you want a traditional small Vegas Chapel, Wee Kirk o the Heathers and Little Chapel of the Flowers are great chapels with great photography and ministers. If you want outdoor in Valley of Fire or Red Rock or Lake Mead, The Las Vegas Wedding Company is excellent. Do you want internet broadcast? If so, stick with a small Vegas Chapel. Mandalay Bay and Caesars have excellent elegant packages is you don't mind spending several thousands with photography. If you give me more ideas of want you are looking for I can help more.
  12. I've contacted several of them. If you ask they will send you the photos of the lace they have. I have worked with this seller on DHGate and although I ended up sending back because the blue was too blue the lace was beautiful, delicate, light, flowy. I was really happy overall. 13. With all of the things that have gone wrong, this is what the photography is about: The photographer missed the unexpected dip my husband did in our first ceremony for our first kiss. It's only in my memory. The first time I was called his wife and the look he had in his eyes. The tears my mother had streaming down her face and the having no memories of that. Each time we renew our vows, the loo in my husband's eyes changes. The first time it was special and exciting. It doesn't get any less special. That love grows throughout the years. Those words carry more meaning. The photos capture the emotion and the love. The intesity grows every year of our marriage and words become harder to say. Not because they have less meaning but becaue they have more. I have wanted someone to capture that. It's not about poses and lighting. But those images express what is going in my mind and my heart when I look at my husband and see in his eyes what I mean to him. It's something I don't want to carry just in my mind. I want to be able show others and remember decades from now. Good photos give you chills and bring back those feelings. That's what I've always wanted.
  14. I had 2 options for my dream wedding: Ireland in a castle or on the beach in the Caribbean. Ireland laws are difficult and the Caribbean in January would be cold. So I decided on a natural setting in Las Vegas in Red Rock Canyon. My wedding day hit many snags and so the photos were going to be the most important thing to me. A month before the ceremony on January 21, 2009, my grandmother became ill. My husband and I had planned to go to Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas. Mygrandmother, aunt, and best friend were flying in the from Ohio, my mother from New Jersey, and myself and fiance from Boston. Everything that could go wrong with my wedding went wrong. One month before the original wedding venue's minister would not let us do our own vows and dropped us. I found another chapel. Then my grandmother became ill. I had always been close to her spending a month every summer with her. As one of 34 grandkids, she was so sick I would be the only one she never saw married. This was devestating. My parents divorced when I was younger and I have NO photos of growing up. We used to have 30 albums in the living room with photos from trips and everything I used to do. These photos were the new memories of my life that I could show my children. My plan was to take the photos from the ceremony and plan a photo shoot on the strip and Red Rock so we could put together something for Grandma. We were planning a reception at the Akron Zoo the following August and I wanted to put something special together for her so we could relive the day she missed together. The minister at the Chapel messed up the DVD and there was no sound. So the vows that meat so much to us, no one can here, including Grandma. The photographer decided to adjust the color on the photos because I was so pale. Now I looked pink in all of the photos! We hired a second photographer to go out and do the Red Rock/Strip shoot. We got a few photos. Before I could get a few photos with my MOH and MOB it started to rain. In Vegas! It rained all night!! No Red Rock photos! No strip photos! No photos from the dinner and cake we were having! Now Grandma would miss it all! My husband calmed me by saying, "We're moving to Vegas this summer. We can renew our vows and do it again." It worked for that week but then when we moved here, here's what happed: July 4, 2009, was the renewal. We did this for the video and photos to take back and share with Grandma and 100 family members at the reception. The minister forgot to ask us for our special vows. The ceremony was only 1 minute 15 seconds long! Then the photographer had problems with her camera and we ended up only doing a few strip photos. We couldn't go out to Red Rock because her car was having problems. This was the same photographer from January. We were supposed to finish up later in the month but she moved! Still no video and only a few photos! We have a photographer hired for the reception in August with the family. We showed Grandma the few photos we had but no video still! The photographer I hired showed up 1 1/2 late! She missed the dance, cake, reunions with family members! My husband and I worked on the first dance as the Final Dance from Dirty Dancing and she missed it! On 9-9-9 we were invited to renew our vows with 99 other couple at the top of the Stratosphere. We did. There was supposed to be a photographer included but they never came around to us. We sought out the photographer and turns out they left for the night! No photo at all! On Oct. 31, we hired a photographer and paid her. She showed up with her camera and did the shoot. It went well. She burned a CD of unedited images and was supposed to send the edited images later. NOTHING! I tried to salvage few of her images but they weren't worth it! On July 4, 2011, I spend months planning. I hired a reputable photographer. Checked out references. Got a contract. I wanted a new location on the strip in the Cosmopolitan hotel. I've seen amazing photos there and decor is amazing. Hired a hair and makeup person. She never showed! One hour before we were supposed to meet the hair and makeup person didn't show! I went down to CVS at the hotel and purchased mascara, bobby pins, and hair spray! I did my best. The photographer showed. We did a 2 hour shoot. Bellagio fountains, Cosmo, RiRa, the ceremony was at the Las Vegas sign. Paid the photographer. Paid the minister. Paid for flowers, dress, etc. One week later, the photographer said she would post the photos. The nothing! After much heartache, she still after 1 year, is nowhere to be found! The last chance. On our 3 year anniversary, I was going to do it right. I spent $1500 on a good photogrpapher. New dress. Red Rock. The ceremony I wanted. The videographer. I bought an airbrush makeup machine and did my hair and makeup myself with much practice. Stressful but worth it. I thought. It was over $4000 for the whole thing but I would finally get the photos and memories I wanted. AGAIN!? It was record winds of 70 mph+! I was devastated. We were holding on to each other during the ceremony. I was laughing to keep from crying. We had to stop the photos again! We finished a week later but could never go to Red Rock because the permit expired. Here's one of the photos: Three and half years. No video! No photos! And over $10,000 of my hard earned money spent. In my dreams, one day I will have something to show Grandma. She just celebrated her 86 birthday last week.
