I went to a Maggie trunk show on the weekend and I think I've decided which dress I want but I can't find it listed on the Monica Bridal site. Do you think they will still do a good job if I just provide them with the Maggie name? The bridal shop allowed us to take some pictures of me in the dress so I could probably include those as well. Just not sure what to do since there is such a price difference. I think I should just take my chances and order it from Monica Bridal but allow myself time to order from Maggie Sottero. I'm just not sure if I will be able to resist trying it on everyday once it's in my closet.

Ok because I had such a hard time finding info on buying a Chinese knock off I want to post a detailed review. This dress is gorgeous. Really well made. Great details, there are little beading details

Okay ladies, got it on, and it fits perfectly! Maybe needs a little tweaking around the bust...but nothing really! I will attach a few pictures of it, don't mind my lovely hair do!!

Just send them the pics of the dress, and see if they can make it.  The one you picked isn't that complexe, so I guess they can make it.  There is another seller called topspartner on dhgate, they are also good at Maggies and Pronovias replicas.

The dress is beautiful. It looks similar in difficulty level to many of the replicas that I have seen and they have all turned out beautifully. I think that it will be fine. Good luck, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Hey Mocha

beautiful dress you choose and don't worry about it not being on their website. Once I showed them the link of the dress and sent them instructions as i made a few changes they then added that dress as an item number for me. I asked for different beading and they said they could do whereas other china vendors onlu used certain beads so i wouldn't worry i think they can do this dress for you. And well you already know my plan which is to order that dress from monica bridal now and still have enough time to order the original just in case! i think it is well worth the risk and based on what other brides have said they are very happy with the dress they received from monica bridal so GO FOR IT!!!! :)

Yay congrats. I can't wait to see both of our dresses completed. Did they tell you how long before you received it once you placed the order. I keep confusing vendors but I think it takes 10 days to make and 5 days to ship which is amazing! Mine is 144us and my sales tax on the original would have been 125$. this is a still and a half! But I am also getting a petticoat and veil included in that price so I am super happy.

What is the email address for Monica Bridal.  The one I have keeps bouncing back.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
