I say if your FI doesn't mind and you really love that dress then wear it!! But it sounds like you kind of want a new one. If that's the case I would get a new one and either donate it or sell it.

I definitely want a new one. What I meant by bad luck was I have offered it as a gift to other brides and they all said it was bad luck. My cousin wanted it and was going to take it, but her future mother-in-law said it was bad luck. So I figured I would just have to throw it away because everyone would think it was bad luck.

I never wanted too wear it again, because it is so much fun picking out a new one. I just didnâ€t†know if I could sell it or donate it.

I would think it was cursed if you were ditched at the altar. But since you made a responsible decision to not get married when you weren't ready, there is nothing wrong with the dress. I think you should sell it or donate it. I can't believe no one wants to take the dress. If my cousin offered me a pretty dress I would be like "hell yeah!"

~On a side note a dress has never really been that important to me so I always thought of buying a used one from someone. My FI freaked and started telling me that it was bad luck. What if the girl hated her wedding? What if the girl had negative feelings on her wedding day? It would bring bad aura, etc. I think all of that is silly but it still makes me laugh to think that my FI could be superstitious b/c he never believes in that kind of stuff.

Personally, I'd sell it on Ebay or give it away. I personally wouldn't want to use it if I knew you, but I have no issues with using/buying items that have no known history/drama.
