I am thinking about getting hand painted maracas for my wedding favors. Does anyone know where to get them?

    Thanks,
    Danielle

I just bought some from oriental trading. Depending on the quality I may use them for a shower instead...I'll let you know when they come in.
The ones I got were these (12 for $15) but they also have nicer ones, but they are much more expensive ($8 for set of 2)

Mishka does handpainted custom maracas... she can be found on this site - I am sure she will chime in at some point!

                Hi all,
I found some great options online - the two I was considering included those from Windy City Novelties (Genuine Hand Painted Maracas) which run $33.00 for 24 maracas, and those at All4Fun (Maracas - many kinds), which seemed to carry the same ones that I wanted at Windy City for $5 less (plus their shipping wound up being less expensive so I did end up ordering through them). They even have simple maracas that you can get personalized for very little moola. I hope to give guests 1 maraca per person, to save money and bulk in our suitcase going down, and am hoping that doesn't make us look cheap or stingy! It's always tricky to figure that out as you go, especially when you have a budget. I hope this helps!

You can also buy them at the stores along the boardwalk in PV! They were very inexpensive. I think like $2 USD a pair.

I placed an order with Mishka and she was so quick to get back to me and really great to work with. She also does placecards, fans, etc. It's a great option because you don't have to pack or ship anything down there. :)
