Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Recommended Posts

Hi there! Yes, I think we are going to have the cake on the beach. As of now we are going to have a 4:30 ceremony, followed by cake and champagne and then a cocktail hour from 5:30 to 6:30. We want to try and keep the group together until dinner so people don't feel like there a big gaps of time between everything. That was one piece of feedback I have heard from people who have been to destination weddings is that they felt like they didn't know what to do after the ceremony so people know just went their separate ways.
Awesome, thanks !

For everyone's info, here is the information I was recently emailed from the Beach, in preparation of my final wedding details. I wish they gave this to me when I booked! But it is very helpful! Good luck!

Hi Niki!

We are doing the "Blessed by the Sea" package because we are planning on going to city hall before we go and legally getting married here in the states. We had first planned to go with the legal ceremony, but when I read that the marriage certificate can take months to get to you we realized that wouldn't work for us. My fiance is in the military and we will need the marriage certificate ASAP so that I am able to get my military ID, insurance, housing, etc when we get home. I don't think you necessarily have to "renew vows" if you don't want to. I'm sure you can have said whatever you want in the program. And, it is $200 cheaper, so if you're on a budget like me you'll be able to put that money toward other things!  Good luck. :)

Okay... your wedding is 4 months away. (Congrats by the way!) Mine is only two and I don't have these documents yet!! Mind you, I'm getting married at the Suites. They did send me the Last Wedding Details document but not the other three documents. Thanks for forwarding this on. If I have to I'll just use these and change the name to the Suites from the Beach on the documents. I thought two months before your wedding they finally start responding and giving answers.  Again, thanks for providing these, this is helpful to know so I can get on them to be more attentive.

Lolasmom71, I can't believe you haven't gotten all the paperwork at 2 months out!!! I dont know why they just don't send it to you when you get the confirmation papers! I wanted to have all my planning done before I started back in school, and these would have  made it so much easier than just looking for details on here in random places!

LolasMom71:  Could you post the documents they gave you for the Suites?  It would be great to see the differences and see what we have to do when our time comes.  Only if you have time of course.   :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
