They went above and beyond and those girls work their butts off! Here's my 12 freebies from the resort photographer, hopefully I'll have the rest of my pics in a day or two....

Hey! I just got back from our wedding at the Suites and the disco is not super hot at all. I had a long gown with a heavy train and wore it all night... It was a bit hot but nothing unbearable!

I was a bit concerned about drinks being spilt on my dress but they do not allow glass on the dance floor so it worked out great! My bustle wasn't working properly and the dress get a bit dirty but other than that no issues!

Is the disco super hot? I ask because i'm not sure if I should switch into a short dress for the disco or stay in my long wedding gown. I'll be wearing a long, raw silk gown, it's strapless with a fitted bodice and pick-up skirt so there's some dress to carry around :)

      Thank you!!

The disco had AC. That said, like any club with a lot of people dancing, it gets hot.

I changed into my TTD dress.

          Hi everyone.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I had a lot to do at work after we returned from the honeymoon. We got married at the IRHS on January 9, 2012. It was beautiful. There were hiccups.  I will proivde a full review when I get pictures from the photographer (I think it works best that way) but am happy to answer any questions people have. We had a rehearsal dinner at Aunt Rubys and bonfire the night before, and a beach wedding with cocktails at the Moon Dance Walk (Jazz Bar) and reception at the Cabalash.

              Hi Sjay,

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you.  The petals down the middle of the isle are real.  I did pay a bit extra for those, not sure how much.  You'll have to ask the coordinator.  It was advised that real petals are better as they are heavier than the fake petals, and would do much better in case there was wind.  We lucked out, not much wind at all! The candles stayed lit the entire  duration of our ceremony.  No trick was necessary.  I guess it also depends on the weather and what time of day. Who knows!? I was glad I picked an outdoor wedding! So much fun, especially with the steel drums!

              Best of luck,

              Abby

                Hi ladies

My now-husband and I just got married at the Suites on 1/21. We are currently honeymoonin in Negril at Couples Swept Away but I just wanted to drop a quick note. We had our ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour on the terrace and a private reception at calabash with 40 guests. We also had a welcome party on the beach with the steel pans after the rehearsal dinner at aunt rubys. We used Floral Fantasies, DJ kevan and Marcia Roberts for photography. I will definitely post a review when I get back, but feel free to PM me with any specific questions. Our guests had a fab time and everything went pretty smoothly!!

                    Hi,

Congratulations! I am looking forward to seeing your pictures. I am also getting married at the Suites April 26,2012. Could you please let me know if you had to pay a vendor fee for the DJ. What was your experience of DJ Kevan.

                    Thank-you.
