Good luck to you all! I am considering having my wedding at the IRHB. Please update this site with any positive or negative comments about all of your experiences @ this resort.  ! obviously know that its not on your top to do list but I know all of us future brides would very much appreciate it, when you do have time! :-) Also it sounds like some are having wedding coordinator issues so I'm curious and hopeful it all works out the best for you brides!

Good luck and I'm excited to hear about all your beautiful weddings!!!!

I don't mind seeing fun drunk pictures of you guests having a good time! That's what our people will probably look like! :-)

Nope, you dont need to bring this. Just confirm with Nicole that she received your first copies.

You wont be charged either because they wont be staying on the property long. They should only be dropping the flowers off at nicoles office and the people at the suites will set them up and nicole and her assistant will deliever the bridal parties flowers to them.

You only need a vendor fee if its things like music or entertainment that you have hired from an outside source. A day pass required if they are eating/drinking at the property. However, I hired marica roberts photography and i only paid for 2 vendor fees ( not day passes ) yet their was 3 of them and they ate and drank! So it is a bit confusing. That was my experience tho!

If we were to use another florist besides Tai Flora, will the Suites charge a just vendor's fee only or is a day pass and vendor's fee? I figure it's probably just the vendor's fee if anything, but I want to make sure. I've emailed Tai Flora TWICE (once back in Feb) and again last Tues and have not heard anything back. In order for my fiance and I to compare real flowers and real touch if need be, it'd be nice to get the quotes back from Tai Flora in a timely manner. SMH!

Anyhow, any input anyone has re whether the Suites charges a fee for using another florist company PLEASE let me know asap! Thanks!

Tiffany

Thanks Mrsdeloatche2be! You and Prettysparklie saved me and gave me the number to call Jodi-Ann, which I surely did yesterday afternoon. She wasn't in but I left her a voice mail and now I'm awaiting a call back. Wow here I am 4 months out girl, and you're getting married next month!! I'm glad you were able to finalize floral plans etc. Let the countdown continue for all of us!!

Thanks Jules! So good to know as well. I wish they had it in clearer terms because so many people are confused by this. Wow so the day pass if for them to eat and drink...aye yi yi. It'd be nice as well if we could just pay the vendor fees and have our photographer and dj eat without a problem. Crossing my fingers and toes!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
