Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Recommended Posts

Here is the 2nd pair of shoes I need to get rid of... There is not a Naturalizer store near me so I won't be able to return them. :( I initally got them because I was going to have them painted with the details of our wedding (ie. date, location etc.) But I can't find that in our budget. They are brand new. Only tried on to take a pic. They are white. They are also a size 8.5 but they are wide width. They no longer come in white, I purchased one of the last few pair. I purchased them for 49.95 but I will sell them for $30 +shipping.

The wedding coordinators name is Oniesha Brown at the Tryall and then I have been working with Nicole for stuff at the Iberostar.  The prices add up though so if you are working with a tight budget this might not be the best place.  I dont mind answering any questions to help you out though.

Seriously? You can't request a judge or justice of the peace?? I never even considered this part as we've been to 2 destination weddings in the past year and a half and neither one of them was in the slightest bit religious. I wonder if we hired our own officiant and paid for them to come to the resort on a guest pass if that would be allowed.

It is a little "too" religious for me.. but that is only for me and my FI. so i will be changing it.. to remove some of it.. I will be keeping in the blessings, and some christian content.. just not as much as they have in there. I will email it to you and you can judge for youself and what works best for you and your FI :)

Thats a good question! I just read my sheets of info from the Iberostar and it states on the sheet where it explains what is in the wedding packages, down at the bottom, that because it is a pastor doing the service it will be a christian ceremony. I am sure if you were okay with writing your own ceremony script etc.. he would read whatever it was that you created.. As when i spoke to Silvia she said that we could of course change it to say whatever we wanted... They have the basic one, and then you can either keep it or change it. I am sure you could change it to be non demonominational... however maybe send an email to Silvia and just ask her if you can get a outside JP or something if you don't want to change the ceremony that already exists .. :)

Hey Ladies,

I've been searching all the pictures posted by past RHB brides tot try and see what the chairs look like without the chair covers. We're going for a really casual feel and the covers feel a little formal. Has anyone gotten a peek at the chairs au naturelle?

Hi! I just got back from Jamaica.  I had an off-site wedding and dinner reception at the Suites. Message me if you wanted detailed info.  I'll be happy to share as well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
