Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have been so busy at work that i don't have alot of time to write but i do read the reviews. Lady D Spring farms is at the top of my list because what i like is a villa setting very intimate I have secured the catering and all the other vendors. Everything is going fine with me I am working with Grande garden on my flowers and they are very good and responsive in working with my budget.

At Iberostar you do not have to use the flower studio you can use Grande Garden which is better in the quality work as far as I am concerned, Tai Flora is good but i have heard some horror stories about them and timeliness and do not want to be worried on the day of my wedding.

I am getting married there in April of this year. We wnet for vacation there in April stayed for a week and I literally cried when we left. We had a blast and it was so clean and unique. We were originally looking at having it at the Ritz Carlton but we ended at Iberostar as the Ritz was booked....and I am glad we did. The ritz looked terrible yuck yuck yuck!!!!!censored.gif

If you want to see some of my pictures first hand I can send a link to anyone who likes...also i have a lady who created our invites by hand ..she made the paper and everything they were abs unique........have her info too ( for those who are way to busy for that kinda time consuming thing)smile29.gif

  • 2 weeks later...

Anyone else have trouble booking their wedding here? I've sent queries off for the last 3 weeks or so through both to the hotel and the wedding planners specifically and have yet to recieve one reply.

Don't get me wrong after having read all the info I can on the resorts I realize they're extremely busy but 3 weeks seems a little bit excessive when waiting for a reply of any kind. I would love to book here but because I can't seem to get a response at all I may start looking elsewhere *sigh*

I will admit that the contact the wedding planner form on the iberostar website does not appear to be working for myself or my fiancee. So I sent an e-mail direct to [email protected] and e-mailed the hotel directly to inquire about booking a wedding date.

A little bit frustrated but willing to exercise patience at the throught of a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi Catalyst, I tried to contact the Suites WC for weeks with no response- I have heard other brides have had this problem too. I think many of them were just calling her using Skype.

The WC from the Beach is great- her name is Latoya her email is [email protected], she responsed within 1-2 days but only re: Iberostar Beach Hotel

Good luck!

Thanks Jenn! Good to know that I'm not alone in this really. I did e-mail the [email protected] Just managed to screw up the e-mail addy in my last post as I was rather tired which unfortunately affects everythings everything else.

I'll give it another go maybe and be more concise I suppose. I just didn't want to add to the already huge amount of e-mail clutter that they already have. *sigh*

I've heard so many positive things about the resort and the co-ordinator's which was part of the reason I wanted to go there! It's just getting it sorted so I can send out the invites!

I am trying to book the Beach hotel just because there's a good chance we will have children attending but I'm pretty sure we'll be staying at the suites when we go. :-)

Anyways thanks again advice is always welcome!

Hi Catalyst.

here are the emails that I've used:

[email protected] this is for nicole the WC at the suites... she finally returned my email (after calling for 4 days and finally sending her the same email with the same title about 5-6 times--I really didn't want to do this but I just needed to have a date confirmed so I could move on with planning).

[email protected] this is for latoya the wc at the beach. she returned my email in just a few days.

Good luck!! I think picking (and booking) the resort was the biggest hurdle thus far.

Thanks for all of the advice guys! Very very much appreciated.

I sent off another e-mail last night requesting the same details as before and recieved a response this morning! I'm over the moon to actually be getting this sorted as we spent ages deciding on which resort to go to and I was dreading having to find another.

However alls well that ends well... now just to get all the forms filled out and sent off.

Perhaps my last e-mails just got lost in the shuffle. Whatever happened I'm glad it's resolved.

I realize I'm relatively new to these forums but if it hadn't been for reading through all of the threads I've read here I doubt I would have presisted as long so Cheers!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
