You have to really be sure to get REAL real touch flowers, silks and other "faux" flowers are just not the same! I have posted my centrepiece but not on the centre piece thread, prolly one of the canadian threads. I wanted height so I have opted for 8" hurricane vases that will be filled with sand and shells on the top and in them will be 3.5ft grasses like reeds thats I picked up. Sounds really strange but I really like the look of it, its very natural and different from traditional flowers or candles. We are having one long table so height in the centrepiece was important to me while still allowing people to talk around it!

The composite flower is indeed gorgeous, I don't think I have seen one before and definitely looks like a peony to me. It is so easy to get caught up in all the details that we plan that we lose sight of our original vision or stray away from it... To be able to bounce ideas of eachother, beyond great! This board has been most helpful for that, especially when you have "laid back" fiance's
