Le blanc Brides, Is Le Blanc resort trying to charge you crazy outside vendor fees of $500? How did you get them to reduce the fees or not charge the fees?

@Med2012. You will Love Le Blanc! I did my site visit last year! During my site visits. I told the WC of all my Preferences for my Welcome Pary, Wedding, Cocktail hour and reception and she noted that. I will probably have the Rehearsal for the Wedding party 1 hour before the Welcome Party Cocktail Hour . I' just want to do something quick and less formal. Most of guests will be flying in that day so I know they will be tired from traveling so I dont want to keep them up all night long. Just a little Hello and Introductions and a few Margaritas! So then people can just come to the Welcome party say hello and then go off to dinner on their own and get ready for the next day which will be the wedding!

I know this forum is about hair. But I wanted to get some advice from my fellow chocolate brides on DJ/Music advice. Can any of you let me know which DJ service /company you used. I've heard good things about Doremixx. Not a lot about Mannia and then I'm starting to hear more about Disco Movil. Any help would be great.

I like the purple wedding collection from Colin Cowie. With the Colin package I wouldnt have to do a lot of extras. Oh well. I guess i need to get back to my planning and seeing if its worth me bringing the stuff over myself or just going thru the vendors they have at Le Blanc.

Update* - I spoke with the Le Blanc Wedding Coordinator and she stated that they will be launching Colin Cowie Wedding Collection @ Le Blanc by Fall 2012. But the Colin Cowie collections are available for Palace Resorts and Hard Rock resorts Brides.

I talked to the Wedding Coordinator at Le Blanc and she stated that the Colin Cowie Wedding Collection will be available @ Le Blanc for Fall 2012.

@Lola2012 - I contacted my Wedding Coordinator yesterday and she said that they will honor our original packages that we signed up for. So you should be okay! Happy Planning!

Have any of you Le Blanc Brides seen the New Colin Cowie Wedding Collections? Are any of you going to use the new packages or stay with your original packages? I didnt see the package prices yet. But I saw the Themes and yes I was a little disappointed. I exepected a little more from him. I'm going to contact my Wedding Coordinator to find out if I can still do my own custom package or can we still use the 2011 package since we booked before 2012. This just seems like they are charging a lot more MONEY$$$ for the name of Colin Cowie without giving us a lot more. I think the other packages were way BETTER!

Hansen - I'm also a July 2012 Bride and that was one of my concerns but then i just went with it. The same looks that you got from the locals was the same thing I got. I figured by having the wedding start later on in the day like 5:30 or 6pm. I should not be that bad. I'm hoping. Like I really want to have an outdoor reception and even my WC is suggesting it may be too hot for an outdoor rececption. I'm like even at 7pm? I'm not going to worry about it. Its the Mexico. Its suppose to be hot and if i wanted an inside reception then I would of just stayed in the states and had it at a hotel like everyone else.

Yes time is FLYING!!!! I've started trying on dresses too! its so EXCITING!
