I am not sure how it did it but it did. There are now 2 good sized holes in my veil. Any suggestions on how to fix it? The only thing that I have come up with is a few small stiches to close it up. It is custom made and there is no time/money to buy another one. I was thinking about cutting it and making it shorter but then I lose all my beadwork. I was expecting some things to go wrong, but not this!!

i'd stitch it up. it probably won't be noticable. veils are so wispy anyway that you don't get a good look at them

      bad roomba, bad!

Awww...sorry to hear that. Stitching sounds good. Why not try it & see what happens. Are the holes in a noticeable place? Like are they at the bottom of the veil, near the sides, etc?
Did you order it online? If not, can you take it to the person who made it & see what they can do? Or what about a seamstress?
Again, sorry to hear that but I'm sure you'll work it out.
I think the roomba needs a timeout!

See, this is why housework is bad!

I'd say try to have it stiched. Can you maybe add some extra beads to cover the area?

Oh no!!! This post title absolutely cracked me up tho, I must admit. I'm sorry about your veil! Darn technology!!!

Oh geez, I must've skipped over the part about it being custom made. Shoot!! Can you take it in to your seamstress and see what she can do?? Good luck hun!!

Thanks for the suggestions. I was trying to avoid housework by getting some robot to do it for me. I guess that was it's revenge. I am waiting for my mom to come over and look at it. I am feeling more confident that I can put in a few stitches and close up the hole. It is towards the bottom left. I was thinking of sewing more beads to cover it up but then I will have to do more on the other side to even it out. I told my good friend and she laughed so hard she couldn't speak. I was so excited for the roomba when I go it last month but it is like a child, you can't leave it alone or else it can get into some trouble. It does love to play hide and seek too. I just bought it with gift cards from my shower...hoping to make my life easier. hahaha

It is so true! Our roomba once ate up all of these cords. I almost spanked it.

I hope you can get your veil fixed.

Haha, I laughed too!! But hey, think of this. At least one thing goes wrong, and be happy it was a small thing like a veil and not tripping while you walk down the aisle!! (knocks on wood)

                      ooo... BAD rhumba!
I am so sorry! I would definetely try stitching it. They have that clear thread..that would probably work best.

Good luck!! I am sure that once you fix it; noone will notice.
