I'm sure it will all work out ... it seems that everyone has taken these swine flu a little too seriously a little too quickly. I mean, the US had it's first death today, and it was a Mexican boy who was visiting Texas ...

Yeah I know I was kicking off today saying our Government has jumped on this to hide the fact they are economically screwing us lol I'm hoping it blows over. In the reports over here it hasn't said that the little boy was mexican the sly gits lol

Im just so annoyed - my uncle and aunt are out b/c their work told them if they travel to mexico they cant come back to work for 15 days WTF (they live in Spain)

 

Im so fed up - and im so sad i probably wont get my dress and my pictures - and we cant reschedule/postpone because we didnt go through a TA and our resort doesnt have any locations outside of Mexico so i wouldn't even know how to go about rescheduling anything. This is just so unfair.

I'm sorry. I wish people weren't freaking out so badly. Tamiflu actually works for the swine flu, while it's been resistant this year to normal flu. So, even if you got swine flu, and took some antivirals, you'd have less symptoms than if got the flu normally.

I know - its really insane how crazy its gotten. And personally - um id risk the flu for my wedding! Im sure many brides have even got married while they had the flu! UGH it makes me so mad.

i'd go to mexico if i could, fuck the swine flu. i canceled my group excursion and the cancunvista guy said it's so sad that there's not a single case in cancun but yet everyone is cancelling. there's more confirmed swine flu cases in the USA right now than mexico but yet we're banned from flying there.

 

on a positive note my crying has gone from every 30 mins to every other hour. i almost made it 3 hours tearless until i started cancelling everything. walking past my half packed wedding stuff really isn't helping either.

 

i couldn't even move my wedding to june when they "might" start flying there again cuz a lot of my guests said they wouldn't go. so frustrating and depressing to lose all that planning.

 

we've found 2 resorts in jamaica that have wedding openings for the same week i was going to get married in mexico...in 8 days. there's a very small glimmer of hope. i'm supposedly to be bouncing off the walls excited right now instead i have no wedding at all.

it is most likely that I am going to be a july bride. I am so so disappointed but it was either push it back or try to find somewhere else in 3 weeks with a TON of restrictions from the place that everyone bought their packages from.

I still can't believe that this is happening...I am totally not afraid of this flu...I just got screwed by air transat!
