Crazy to get my dress 8 months before?

Recommended Posts

If you love the dress no matter how many more you tried on you would still love that original dress. I got engaged in Dec 07, I bought my dress March 08, I booked my place/date July 08. So there is no right time to buy your dress just the old saying you will kno wit when you see it.

I agree with everyone. I found my dress - it was the 2nd one I tried on at the first salon and I tried on 20 others after it, but that was it. Kept coming back to it. Still haven't bought it, but I know it'll be there to order when I go back this week.

Just DON'T go looking for another one!!! You don't want to become a 2 or 3 or 4 dress bride!!! Be happy, check it off the list and have fun picking your shoes and accessories because it's already in your closet!!! smile29.gif

I'm like 14 months out and I'm dress shopping... the only thing to consider is if you have to slim down before the big day, they can only alter the dress down two sizes. Any more and you risk things not fitting right. If you buy your dress to early and miscalculate you could be in trouble. From your pic, it doesn't look like that is the case :) though! Good luck, I'm sure you picked the perfect dress!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
