Do you just stand there at the end of the aisle and wait for everyone to join you, do you do a "U" turn and walk right back to ceremony area where everyone is seated to chat.
I just don't want to feel like a fool at that moment, so I was wondering what some of you did and what some of you are planning on doing.

That's a great question - My FI and I have been talking about that and other details after the ceremony - It seems that with as great of a lax enviornment that it is - there is actually very little planned. I am concerned that the I will feel awkward with not enough planning and the guests might get bored. But that may just be my overactive mind going as I get closer to the date.

We don't have a DJ booked so I am loading up my ipod and making a list for our MC (best man) to anounce toasts durring dinner - Would love to hear some other ideas that you ladies are coming up with to pass the time as the night rolls on - as well as the "right after the ceremony" time questions.

      Thanks all,
      Anna

Our family walked down the aisle after we got to the "end" of it and we all hugged and stuff like that and then walked over to the table where the champagne was set up for a toast. If you are worried about them not following you, why not tell your bridal part and your parents to go first, and then everyone else will follow after that.

Julie - I am a WC at a resort in MD and when my bride and grooms walk down the aisle I am there waiting for them to show them where to go. This is something I usually discuss with them at their rehearsal if they want to be whisked away to have a few minutes alone (which I highly recommend) or I take them to a planned spot to meet with their photographer. I say it is up to you what you want to do immediately follow and just let Landy know when you arrive. I think we're going to start our pictures right away and then the family pictures. Hope this helps!

When I sent them my Wedding Planning guide this past week, I also included a "pre-contract" that I wrote up. This included all the plans we made and all special permissions that Landy has promised me. This also included days and times to deliver bouquets, ironed wedding clothes (after reading Sunbride's review, I did not want to have a heart attack if the bouquet was delivered 5 minutes before the ceremony).

When I first decided to go with Dreams, I set up a couple of Phone Meetings on Saturday mornings. This might help you but just make sure to make your list of questions ahead of time.

Also, when I send emails to Landy, I bullet all of my questions. For example...

-How much for a bonfire? Is this per person or all together? Please confirm.
-What does the bonfire include? Please confirm.
-How many chairs will be set up? Please confirm.
-How long can we have the bonfire? Please confirm....

I know this takes a lot of extra time but the goal is to get the info even if it is more work.

One last thing, I mentioned this before... when I send my emails to Landy in Spanish, she answers back within a couple of days. If any of you know Spanish...now is a good time to show off the skills.

In the end...My FH and I try to keep this thought in mind...It's the beach, it's Tulum, no matter what happens, we are going to have a great time!
                  Carina-
Speaking of bonfire questions... do you know the answer to how much it is--whether as a group or per person and how long it can last and/or what time it could start? (Do they have restrictions on how early it can begin?)
                  THANKS SO MUCH!

Does anyone know what time the disco, specifically, closes?

My last question for the evening... my FI and I were talking about the idea of showing a slide show of pics of us growing up and then as a couple, etc. Does anyone have any info about a projector/screen that would be available through the resort? Anyone done this or planning to do this?
