Hey Amy, thanks for getting back to us. I have another quick question reguarding the logo designs. I have a good friend that can design a logo for us but which shop/website did you go through to get the shotglasses and totes? Thanks again for your time!!

The one many of us have used and been happy with is Trinidad (a she not a he!)

But maybe you are thinking of somebody else.

Hi Angela. I got the bags from cheaptotes and bought transfer paper and ironed the logos on myself. I got the shotglasses from discountmugs.com!

Best of luck to you all!!

Thanks!!! We kept it simple since you don't have a ton of room to write. On the cover, we just had our names, date and location. The second insert, we had live, laugh LOVE (it was on our invites). Third page, bridal party info. Fourth page: ring bearers and groomsmen info. Fifth page: thank you note to guests. I ordered way too many. I had enough for each guest but a bunch of people either left them on the seat or didn't realize they were there. I would suggest ordering a few less unless you really have a small group. We ordered from //www.custom-programs.com/. They were fantastic. I was very anxious because I didn't give them that much time to complete them but they reassured me they'd make and they did! No issues. Very easy!

Any suggestions
It is also booked up for us the second week of April. I guess the Easter Holiday week is also when the wealthier Mexican's travel as well. I was a bit worried that the resort would be booked 'over capacity' and there would be a risk of being bumped.....but we were assured that wouldn't happen. We had to pay the increased room rate for suites for all our guests (vs. basic garden view rooms) in order to secure our reservation. It was touch-and-go for a few days there, but now everything is tickity-boo. I would suggest looking into if there are upgraded rooms available and if you can negotiate a rate for your guests (we paid only $110 more per person for the upgraded suites).

Hi Everyone,

I am getting married at Dreams Tulum on November 20, 2009. My specific question here is for brides who have already had their wedding experience at Dreams Tulum. Now I noticed in many of the photos that they put a sand coloured carpet down on the beach to walk on, and I'm wondering how easy it is to navigate the aisle in heels?? I just bought my wedding shoes, and ABSOLUTELY love them, I'm just realizing now that there is the possibility I won't be able to wear them...please somebody tell me otherwise!!

the sand is pretty hard-packed at the gazebo site and we had the carpet runner on top of it and had no problems walking in heels on it (didn't sink in). My mom, BMs and I all wore heels without a problem, so don't worry.

I just have a couple questions...

1. Is it a requirement to rent a dance floor if the reception is on the beach, we have a small group but I still want to dance?

2. Is the ipod hook-up easy? Do we need to bring anything else other than batteries and the ipod?

3. If anyone has done the spa day with a group of girls...I know the bride gets a discount but I was hoping to pay for 6 including myself for pedi's...do you know if I can get a discount for all of them, if so, do you know the price?

I think that is all for right now...thank you so much for your help as usual...you guys are great!!

Angela

    • Hello all!! I'm planning to get married next week. I'm working in an MNC and I'm gonna marry my colleague who is in my company. It's been ten months since we have started our relationship. He used to support in all my difficulties and used to help me in my work. Always he used to tell me about my smile. He says that I have a very good smile and he loves it. Recently I lost my front tooth after an accident and it resulted in a bad look for me. He told me that I lost my beautiful smile. I was totally disappointed and thought of finding a solution. I heard about dental dentures and took an appointment at a clinic in Scarborough. Will dentures affect my speech? What was your experience of getting dentures?
    • Go for the third one. It is gorgeous and you will look stunning in that. I'm sure you will be noticed by other people. Go for it.
    • I would suggest the long one. You will look stunning in that. It is simple and elegant.
    • Both the gown are awesome and I'm sure you will look gorgeous in both. But I would suggest the first one. Go for it and Congratulations for your marriage.
    • Hello everyone,  I am still engaged, still not planning the big day, because we haven't chosen a date + we have some family stiff to do so I hope that this forum will help me a lot before the real craziness during the wedding planning period. Happy to be here
