My FI cracks me up...

So I absolutely love my FI -- he never ceases to make me laugh.

Today we were talking about spicy food... and we realized we were very different. He says he eats to prove his manliness... whereas I eat to fill my hunger (or console me when the Lost season ends...).

I called him out on it saying that I hoped that when we were married I would be much more entertainment for him than the peppers he puts in his food...

To which he quickly replied:

"...i think a real man i one who can successfully lead a wife and family or lead other people not the man who can stand the highest scoville rating."

What does your FI say that makes you laugh?

LOL! I tell James he has to wait until I'm 42 to trade me in for two 21 year olds. Can't do it any sooner or they won't be of age :)

FI calls me at work this afternoon because he's standing in the sporting goods store trying to decide on a pair of sport sandals for our wedding & honeymoon trip (the kind that are like flip flops but without the thing between your toes because he hates that), and whines to me "i'm having a brain anuerysm, its like i cant make my own decision, i need you, i cant do this by myself, thank god i'm marrying you!" - i just busted out laughing! so then i went through the pros and cons of each sandal he described for me and he decided on some navy blue crocs. i hung up and then he calls me 5 mins later "honey! i found crocs that have a cubs logo! im getting those!" hahahaha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
