A bit of news I just heard from someone who just returned from Aventura Spa. The week of April 17th the northern most wedding Gazebo caught on fire. Apparantly during a wedding ceremony the wind blew the fireworks toward the large grass roof and set it on fire. The entire roof burnt off! They set the fireworks off when the bride and groom kiss. My husband says it must of been a hell-of-a first kiss!! I hope they get the roof fixed soon because I know they have a lot of weddings there in May.

But I hope the other gazebo gets fixed soon, especially for the brides who had their hearts set on getting married in it.

From the main patio area (in front of maze) at Aventura Spa, you can see the Coba Gazebo on one side and the Chichen Gazebo on the other. The Tulum Gazebo can not be seen from there, because it sits at the very end of the property on the north side.

My daughters wedding is in the Chichen Gazebo (adults side), one hour cocktail/hors d'oeurves, dancing and music on the Pandero terrace (family side) and wedding dinner on terrace at ElGreco(adults side)
We are staying in a Presidential suite in the Arpa Building, on the adults side..
