Hi girls. Not much new here.

We too, just found a place to board our dogs while we are getting married. I searched the city up and down, because I am not dropping my babies off at just any old place! We actually went for an eval at a doggie day care place, and my little girl, Kody who's 9 months and only 30lbs, jumped out of the enclosure - which was a 5 foot wall! Needless to say she did not want to be there. Plus the people working there didn't even seem like dog people! They didn't make any attempt to befriend my dogs. Hell no am I leaving them there!

On the up side, we found an awesome place! They get their own doggie suit with a TV, and they go swimming in a doggie pool, and have huge grassy runs that they can plan in. And they get memory foam beds each day, etc. I feel so much better knowing that they will be happy while we are away!

Wow. that was a long story!

Other than that, dear FI put the hose in the pool last night to fill it up.... and forgot to turn it off until this morning!!!! Yeah, it was over flowing this morning. Nice work FI.

A very good friend of mine got engaged last night (when I say good friend, I mean she called me before she called her mother! lol) & I am so incredibly happy for her, but I can't help but feel jealous. And I feel so horrible for being jealous. I cried myself to sleep last night, not because of the jealousy, but from the guilt of feeling that way... I'm a horrible person! sad.gif

Thanks! We've been to Banff before - but would love to have some restaurant suggestions... we always just do the Old Spaghetti Factory, but we're kind of tired of that...so I'd love to hear any suggestions you might have!

Congrats to all of you with new jobs and upcoming weddings!!!

Tammy~ Love the pix of the pooches!

Teachers in the summer- I'm usually at my mom's pool everyday, but inside with Austin this year! Go to a pool, get a tan, and enjoy your summer!

We just got home from Austin's 1 month dr appt! I can't believe he's already been here a month! He got his second Hepatitis B shot today~ poor guy!! That little face looked SOOO sad! He's been sleeping ever since (in fact, I haven't even moved him from his car seat because I don't want to disturb him!) He weighs 9 lbs. 12 oz. now and is 23 in. long (was 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 20 1/2 in. at birth.)

Have a good day!

Amy

I'm terrified of birds and they seem to follow me very closely at my home. Our gardener filled in some holes around the roof line where they had been building some nests. So he comes out again yesterday and noticed that they were starting to build again. He cleaned them up again so we'll just hope they stop. arrrgghhh.

My MOH just broke up with her BF and I think the fact that I am getting married is really hard on her. I know she is so excited for me but she is just ready to settle down. I don't think you are a horrible person. You can't help what you want. I am sure it will be soon though sweetie.

Make sure you take them on time everyday though! Because if you don't you will spot or start anyway. I use to skip months all the time when I was on them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
