I would like to add a brooch to my dress since it doesn't have any beading or other detail. The problem is, I don't know where the best place to put it would be. I know a lot of brides remove a flower or bow from their dress and put it there, but my dress doesn't seem to have an obvious plave to put it (at least not to me!) Any ideas?

Courtney, I love your dress - i have to be honest - i think you should skip the brooch. as much as i like it, there isn't a 'natural' place to put it.

what does your veil look like?

can you wear a really cool necklace or bracelet?

BTW - i have been meaning to ask you this? did you go to NYU for undergrad?

I'm all about brooches but like Alyssa said there is no "natural" spot to put it, and your dress is so pretty, I love it the way it is. Adding accessories will dress it up totally. I nice necklace, or earrings will totally do the trick!!!!!!! If you've already purchased the brooch and want to use it, you can utilize it in so many ways. What type of hand bag do you have, a clutch? If so it would look fab on that. Or to your flowers. etc...

Thanks, Alyssa! I agree, there is not reallly a place to put the brooch. I will put it in my bouquet instead!

Nope, I did not go to NYU! I'm a Purdue and IU grad!

I agree with every one else that there is not "natural" place to put the brooch. But if your dead set on it what about adding a sash around your waist and add the brooch to that?

If you are going to bustle your dress, why not put the brooch on the bustle? I have seen this before and I love the way it looks. Your brooch is really cute, where did you get it?

    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
    • So we are currently looking for an all inclusive resort for the wedding. We have 60 guests and found all the Dreams resorts as options and all of them gave us a quote and discounted price since it’s off season etc. Resorts in Punta Canta gave us a reasonable price, Dominicus gave us a really good deal then La Romana Resort and Spa gave us their regular price and so hard to negotiate. Will someone tell us how special is this resort that they won’t give us a good discount when all my guests are staying in their resort for 5-8 days. We are bringing $$$ in their resort and not give us a discount?  What is so special with this resort?  Can somebody recommend a beautiful resort?
