My dress won't zip!...And I leave in 12 days!

Recommended Posts

Well ladies, I'm down 1.5 pounds since Wednesday and that's not even with working out. At this rate I will be fine before the wedding. I honestly am not to worried about Jamaica, even with all of the yummy food and drinks. I tend to be super active on vacation and they have a great gym!

I'll be working out as much as possible this weekend and am thinking of doing a few hot yoga sessions for the extra sweat.

I've cut out carbs and have primarily been eating raw foods and the occasional cheese cube during the day, oatmeal for breakfast and chicken breast for dinner. I haven't been eating anything after 8pm.

I've had so much water, I think I need to invest in diapers. There have been a few near accidents! LOL! I have a tiny bladder as it is, so this is interesting. Not drinking has been a little challenging. Sitting at the ballfield while FI plays in 95 degree weather and having to turn down a frosty cold bottle o'brew takes will power, but I did it!

Thanks so much for all of the support! BDW is the absolute best!

The gym also has a sauna so that might be an option, sweat some of it off!

I'm also enforcing a strict no eating after 7pm rule and a you must eat breakfast rule.

Thanks Glenda! I know it can be done, it just sucks that we have to do it! I'll be good tonight and let you know what happens in the morning! I need some sit down exercises I can do while at my computer! I still have to do programs and iteneraries for all of the guests.
I had the same problem! I stopped eating at 5:00pm for a whole week before the wedding. And it worked wonders. I should probably enlist that rule now. Don't stress about it - that will compound the problem. Just be very conscious about what you eat...I agree with everyone - No alcohol, and no salt. I teach aerobics, and those two things will move mountains, and pounds...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
