Congratulations! Can't wait to see your pics and hear all about it. I figured you'd be back soon with info on Coba for all of us, as well as the resort as a whole.

Who was your wedding coordinator? My wedding is in April and she hasn't communicated with me a lot so I'm a little nervous. How many details get ironed out before and after you get there?

I'm getting married at the Tulum side (sorry I don't remember which side you're getting married at). My WC is Jazmin and she has usually gotten back to me within 3-4 days (sometimes sooner, sometimes later).

I've asked her a lot of questions but here's a list of what we've decied on BEFORE we get there:

- Wedding Package

- Wedding location (but we can change our minds when we get there)

- Dinner location (we chose the Tequila resturant)

- Dinner Menu

- Dance location (we're renting the disco for 1 or 2 hours - FH couldn't get his head around paying for booze - if we do it by the pool - at an AI, haha).

- Wedding Time (I can't remember right now but its at 2 or 3pm)

Here's what we choose AFTER we get there:

- Flowers (I asked Jazmin if she could send me pics of a few examples but she said she didn't have any - so if anyone knows who supplies the flowers - could you let me know cause I'd like to contact them personally)

- Cake (we chose the tres leche (sp??) before but I think we choose the decorating when we get there)

I think that's about it :)

Thanks for your help. I'm getting married at the Akumal side, and my WC is Yuritzia, according to reviews on other sites she's supposed to be good. However, I think the ball will get rolling when we got closer to our date (and money has been paid to the resort). Thanks everyone for your help

Which other sites did you find with reviews? I would love to check them out. I am getting totally obsessed with online reviews and forums for this wedding. I'm not going to know what to do with myself when it is all done.

I was totally obsessed with it as well, but then you read some bad ones (mixed in with dozens of good ones) and you remember the bad and panic a little (or A LOT). So be warned, have a paper bag handy when reading, but then remember to read the really good ones over again. Here are some sites:

If you want to totally panic, this is what can potentially happen so if you're ready for this then you'll be prepared for the worst.

Hope I've helped and not freaked you out too bad.

    • It’s been years... and I’m now searching for the same in Montego Bay or Negril. Did anyone ever have any luck finding?
    • Hello, I'm new to this site. I got engaged already and get married by next year. I have some doubts regarding our dating destination. Hope you will help me. Thank You!
    • Hello everyone,
Well, this upcoming valentine's day is special for me because I got engaged and planning to spend the day with my fiance. I'm planning to give her an ethical jumpsuit.

Other than that I have been searching the internet for some nice discounted coupons and searched among my friends and found different sites. Now, we are looking forward to that wonderful day. We searched a lot and found out, Escape The City. Orangeville is a great place for a day trip or weekend gateway from Toronto.
Theatre Orangeville is offering a weekend package that includes 2 tickets to a Live performance at the theatre, Premium Overnight Accommodations at Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn and Suites and $75 Downtown Wine and Dine Voucher which is valid at select Downtown restaurants, and Free Entry to the scenic Trails & Bridges of Island Lake.

We are so excited and eagerly waiting for that day.
If anyone has got any other suggestions for the venue, kindly share your thoughts/ideas.
      Thank You!

    • Please tell me, the best wedding venue in Saskatoon, SK.
    • Hey everyone! Like the others here, I'm interested in wedding reception, venue and all related steps & stuff. Starting with my first and the most important note is that we're international couple and we need to think of bilingual wedding. So the first thing we need to think of is whether it will be interpretation or 2 different venue coordinators, sermons and stuff? What is your experience, what could be the best and affordable solution? From googling the issue I've found this Interactio app team ( describing possible solution here  http://blog.interactio.io/case-study-weddings )Basically they offer to hold the venue in the main language, additionally providing simultaneous interpretation online to other quest's mobile phones. Looks like really easy and creative idea. What about the others? How did you solve this kind of obstacle? Any additional advises would be very welcomed here
