wow Yari - that happened to us with 2 of our brdial party - we are happy for them too!

but question, if she just got pregnant - why won't she be able to make it - won't she only be like 5 or 6 months by the wedding?

my friend will be 5 1/2 months but doesn't feel comfortable going. She doesnt want to be in another country & possibly have a complication. it's her first pregnancy & i understand her concern. I personally wouldn't want to take a trip if I could avoid it. I knew she was trying to get pregnant before we got engaged & I told her when we first announced the wedding to not consider my wedding a reason to stop trying. I'll miss having her there, but I think starting a family is much more important than making it to my wedding.

She flew out this weekend to see me instead of attending the wedding. We had a great time. She has just a little baby bump right now.

I knew stuff like this could interfer with people being able to make it. That was a big reason why I decided not to have BMs.

I will definitly share a video & pictures. I never though about a web cast. Does the hotel set that up? If you have a web cast will you let us watch it :)

geez! That is self centered. I've never even thought about going to watch a friend graduate college. Those things are so boring. I didn't even want to go to my own graduation. At my school you celebrate earning your class ring more than you celebrate graduating.

Personally I was sad to graduate- from both college and high school. Guess I wasn't ready to grow up.
yes I know totally crazy, I think she is better about it now, but she said this is her only big event because no man is ever going to marry her (its a long story)

Alyssa, I personally wouldn't travel out of the country right now, I know I can, but honestly I am flying this weekend and really not looking forward to being on an airplane for even an hour. I never know how I am going to feel and traveling just doesn't help the situation.

I know Morgan I didn't even attend my college graduation, I didn't care, she has sent out annoucements and party invites, she is really really excited about it, which is great for her, but it was weird of her to be upset with me about it.

She is six weeks and due in November, this makes her around 8 months in October. It is too risky at that point. Plus, I think she would be so uncomfortable preggers in heat and humidity.

Of course you can all watch the webcam. Her husband is a techy so he is going to try and figure something out.

Yari, you handled the situation so well...you are too sweet. I too had a friend (BM) who became pregnant, I was super excited & happy for her bc she thought she would not be able to have another baby but it was bittersweet bc I knew I would miss her on my wedding day also.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
