Show off your shoes....

not crazy at all! I am the opposite... I am 5'2" and he is 6'6" (seriously). SO I NEED to wear heels for the ceremony and pictures of us together, but I want to have some pictures of me barefoot in the sand, so I made some barefoot sandals as well for me and my bridesmaids. That way, I get the best of both worlds! (Who am I kidding? I am flip-flop obsessed so I am sure I will have a pair of cute flip flops too! Best of 3 worlds?)

So, you could do flats for some parts, and cute heels for others. Best of both worlds!

Well I originally planned on wearing these white Badgley Mischkas (Oma Sandal) during the ceremony (and then changing into flipflops for reception) but I recently bought these blue Kate Spades to wear to my shower party. I LOVE these blue shoes.. what do you guys think if I wore the Kate Spade heel to both my shower party and wedding? I'd wear the Badgley Michkas for my dress rehersal dinner then. I don't know.. I'm so torn between these two shoes.

I bought my wedding shoes and then decided to experiment and attempt to bling out my heel. This is the first time I've ever done this. Here's a pic of my work. I completed one shoe, working on the other one now. The lighting doesn't do it any justice. I guarantee you, they look fab in person! I'm so excited.

I LOVE these kate spades. I'd been eyeing them myself but the budget made me choose a different pair. I say GO FOR IT! If you love them - wear them!

These are my barefoot wedding sandals, I ordered a size 7 but they fit a bit snug and had to buy some clasp extensions from the local craft store:

And these are my wedding shoes for the reception and ceremony/reception when we come home (got these for a GREAT deal on Beyond the Rack for 1/2 their normal cost!!:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
