I'm starting nutrisystem

    So I just bought a month and a half supply of nutrisystem off of craigslist yesterday. I bought it from a woman who just got married and used it to help her lose weight before the wedding. My problem is portion control and that I LOVE to eat. Plus with my crazy work schedule I never have the time or energy to cook, otherwise I would do WW. This provides you with all your meals for the day. I never realized how little a small portion is! Wish me luck...

        I really hope it goes well for you! My cousin has been doing it and has lost 17lbs!! I think the biggest thing is that since its portion controlled it helps you see how much food you actually should intake at a meal! Keep us posted on your progress!

            Yeah, portion control is my problem too. I am not doing that great with weight watchers. Perhaps I should look into this...

              yup, it's her leftover supply. I only paid $150.

              17 lbs! That's so awsome...I'll keep you guys posted. I'm hoping to lose 10. Portion control is key...I've always known that, but it's so hard for me to stick to it. I was totally over eating.

                Good Luck!! I've always wanted to try NS. I've been doing the low carb thing for about a week and exercising 5 days a week. I hope to lose 10 lbs also plus tone up!

                  that's my plan too...10 lbs and tone. I hate my arms right now.

                    I hear you Leia. I have small dumbells at home and I do 3 sets of 12 to 15 of different arm exercises while I watch TV at night. I hope it tightens them up.

                      Good luck Leia! I don't mean to discourage you but I tried Nutrisystem and I don't like the food. It taste crappy to me. Sorry I know that's not supportive. LOl. But I know you will do great on it! Its all about portion control. You know what I did that is helping me lose weight now? Once I was done eating some of the food I would wash the trays and keep them. Then when I ate "real" food I would place it in the trays so that I could train myself to see how much is a proper portion. It really helps. I also did Jenny Craig and I liked the Jenny Craig food so much better. But maybe you'll like the food. Good luck I'll be cheering you on!
