Don't you love those vendors? I had some major bra issues while I was there....that's a whole other post!

Hey ya'all ... I thought I would just let you know that Fajita Republic has moved ... they are still on the same street but now they are across the street and down west (closer to Boca Bento).

Also, a note on Vista Grill - GREAT place, great food and cheaper than Cafe de los Artistes - CDLA is THE most expensive restaurant we have in town. Just so you guys know.

Pipis doesn't take reservations, so I think trying to set-up a dinner there would be super difficult.

I might also suggest a new restaurant downtown - I haven't been there yet but it looks really great mostly because of location - it's right above the Starbucks downtown and has an amazing view of the ocean, downtown and the Virgin de Guadalupe church. I think it's called Chilaquiles. We'll go there in a bit and, when we do, I'll let you know how the food was.

You might also consider Nikki Beach - I don't know how the food is there, either, but I've been to a couple of parties there (with appetizers, drinks) and it's a really nice location, plus it has an indoor and an outdoor area which is also nice. It's located in the Westin.

Also there's a restaurant that's not really well known - I haven't eaten there since they changed owners (it use to be owned by Boca Bento, but now it isn't!) but it's called Spiaggia. I think this restaurant is a GREAT location because it's right on the beach but it's not surrounded by other restaurants - sortof off on its own and closer to Buena Aventura than to downtown. Plus, they have an indoor and outdoor area.

Lastly, if you want to do something super private with a great view and outdoors, you might try Terra Noble and cater-in your dinner by either De Santos or Boca Bento (who has a catering company called Plush) or, perhaps, one of the local catering companies like Andres or Polo.

if you are craving pizza there is this really really good pizza place Cafe Roma. prices are cheap, staff is amaxing. also has free internet and you can call home from their phone as long as you order food. check out their website Sr Fox Cafe Roma Pizzeria and Pub in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Pipi's has the best guacamole fresh made right at your table. but the downfall.. the wait for a table can be quite long

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
