Oh No :( i am sorry this happened! I really hope that you guys are able to catch a flight to mexico tomorrow morning! That's really one of those things you dont expect or really think about...at least i havent! Sending positive vibes your way!

Sorry I haven't been on. I'm so f@#$^*g overwhelmed! I can't believe we leave next week. I still feel like there's so much to do! Had my shower and bachelorette party #2 and final dress fittings over the weekend. Awesome!

 

Jenny, I hope you had a wonderful wedding day! Can't wait to here all about it!

When does Lisa come back

 

diahr, I hope everything works out.

 

We are trying to get our centerpieces together. I remember one of the November brides (maybe runningbride?) found a floral store in the area. Does anyone know the name, website, phone, contact info or whatever for the store?

 

Also brides who have been to the Walmart, what has your experiences been like? We are seriously considering purchasing glass vases there but the FI is like, what if the stock is limited, etc./ etc.

 

I need some time off work! Screaming AHHHHHHH!!!!!

I just found out today that I can only get direct flights to Cancun from Montreal on Saturday, my wedding will be on a Monday, so it will be super tight in terms of schedule.  However, I really don't wanna stuck 2 hours in the TO airport.

Ya I was not a fan of being changed from a direct to connecting flight either. But it was not bad at all. We got to Florida and had beers lol while we waited :)

This is the florists we were told to go and check out but we never ended up having to go but here's the address they gave me

We did not go to Walmart but my parents did - I ended up needing two extra frames that my parents forgot to bring for our memory table. They said they had everything but I still fon't know if I would run the risk. What if they only have tow vases of what you are looking for?

 

Don't worry your in the last stretch your almost there!! Paradise is waiting for you. So jealouse of all you ladies going :)

Thanks ladies for all the great advice on the escort cards.  Great idea to split them up between suitcases and have a plan B (very important).  The FI thinks that I an going way overboard with all the stuff I am doing and saying I have over achievers syndrome...but hey...it's my one big day.  I go to my first dress fitting today and am stoked.  As a gift for my wedding, my boss came into my office and just called Continental.  I was a little confused at first, but realized what he was doing.  He is a frequent flyer, so he gave us 60,000 miles to upgrade to first class there and back!  Wooo Hoooo!!  That is awesome because now we get two bags a piece for free!  With all the decorations it will be so helpful.

Yikes!!  You don't ever think anything like this could actually happen.  Well one bad thing will happen to everyone...so hopefully you got yours out of the way and you will be smooth sailing from here.

We were going to do this too but the florist down there could do exactly what I wanted for $60.....its worth $60 a table not to be stressed about it.  If you are creative though (which I am 100% not) I am sure you could find something in Walmart and make it work.  Best of luck!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
