Hi! I had the same dilemma trying to decide between the Boarding Pass and the Passport, except I was deciding on one or the other for my STD only (I'll be making something different for my invites). I decided to go with the passport simply because it allowed me to include much more information than what the boarding pass would have allowed.

See pics below.

The back cover is the same as the front cover except its blank - no writing or picture on it.

Let me know if you want the templates. I got my templates from a fellow BDW - becks. I made some minor changes from what she originally had.

I love your passports!! Do you mind providing me with the templates? I'm just getting into the stage of looking for STD formats and invite ideas, and so far the boarding passes and passports are my favorite!!!

By the way, did you do the printing of them yourself or have them done somewhere? They look fantastic!

smile123.gifHi!

Below is the link that will take you to the templates - it wouldn't allow me to upload the actual template I guess because the file is too big.

The first two pages will be printed on cardstock paper - page 1 (which is the front and back cover) and page 2 which will be the inside to the front and back cover. The third and fourth pages are printed on regular paper - these will be the inside pages. The pages are numbered so as we were working on them you knew where each particular page would go.

Note that pages 3 & 4 are a bit narrower than pages 1 & 2, because otherwise when you fold it the pages stick out a bit.

We went to Staples to print them because I would have been using a lot of ink for the covers since they're all blue. We also had them cut them for us since they have the large paper cutter and were able to cut the stack of papers at once - if we would have cut them we'd have to cut a few at a time. You can ignore the gridlines you see - those are just for aligning purposes - they won't print out when you print them.

After they were cut and ready to go, I laminated just the cover side of the cardstock. I thought it was ging to be time consuming but it wasn't because I just unrolled a large amount of the laminate and laid a bunch of the covers on top of it then just slid the scissor along the edge of the cover - use good scissors because they slide very easily on the laminate so you don't actually have to cut and its an automatic straight line cause ur cutting against the edge of the cardstock. As I finished laminating, my fiance would fold the covers and fold the inside pages one at a time, he then put the inside page on top of the cover (in the proper order) and stapled them from the outside (so the fold of the staple was on the inside). The reason I laminated the covers was because since the cardstock is thicker than regular paper, if you just fold it, the color breaks at the crease and you end up seeing the white underneath the color (like when you fold a piece of cardboard and it cracks at the fold) so by laminating it, it prevented the cardstock from splitting.

As far as all the information we included on it - it all relates to the resort we're staying at, the area, things to do and travel information. We also put a picture of us on the first page on the cover side so you can put something there if you want.

Hope this was helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if you don't understand somethign I wrote above.
