The BDW Biggest Loser Club - Season 1

I stayed the same this week. I have to admit I was secretly hoping for a loss but if I had lost it would have been a total fluke because my eating was not good. At least I didn't gain anything, though so that's a relief!

And tomorrow is my WW "reset" day (as I think of it) so I can finally put this not so terrific food week behind me!

YARI! This is the plan that I do also, it works WONDERS, you just have to stick to it. Lots of planning, but you always end up with a balanced meal with protein, carbs and fat. I love this way of eating. This contest got me back into the habit again and I couldnt be happier!

Mkayyy so I lost 3lbs this past week so thats pretty good. I had my "treat of the week" today and it was a skor blizzard from DQ. YUMMMM!!!!! About 700 calories (EEEK!) but I will just have to shrink the rest of my meals for the day and hop on the treadmill....everything in moderation I guess!!!!

Keep up the good work ladies! All of you are so motivational and inspirational!

Wow Saraha- awesome work this week!

I just weighed in and lost 2.2lbs this week! Woohoo! I'm amazed, considering I started working out this week and generally GAIN when I start a workout routine. Plus I ate dinner at PF Changs on Sunday, Mexican on monday and popcorn at the theater monday night. But, besides that, I was a very good girl and I guess it paid off.

I usually lose weight sooooo slow- I don't tend to drop weight fast, but this contest is definitely keeping me motivated.

Congrats to you all- and for those of you who didn't lose, the best thing is that this is a new week- start over time!

OK, off to the gym I go... cardio weights class :) Time to kick my butt!

Congrats to all the ladies who lost weight! And to those who didn't, don't give up we are starting fresh with Week 3! I lost 2.6 pounds. I'm kind of surprised considering how bad I was this past week. Oh well time to leave the past behind and move forward to the next week.

Let's make this a good week ladies!

BTW I was watching Bulging Brides (I saw a marathon) and I noticed that in 6weeks most of them lose on average 11 pounds (which really isn't a lot) but they all end up losing tons off in inches. So I think for all you guys doing weights you are probably not seeing a lot of number losses but you are probably toning up and losing inches. I think its better to lose inches. I personally haven't done any weights b/c my best friend's BF (who is a trainer) told me that if I started off with weight I would lose very little weight and it would discourage me so it was better to do just cardio for a month and then introduce weights by the second month.

So do you have to eat chicken steak or fish for breakfast? or is that when you eat your starch?

Sounds like a good plan, sort of like a twist on low carb.

You can chicken for breakfast or eggs. I perfer eggs in the morning and I can have whole grain toast with sugar free jelly. I haven't been eating my starch in the morning though.

I just went to Sam's Club and got a bunch of whole grain bread, so I will now eat starch in the morning. Yay!

Congrats to all you losers!! ROFL You know I love you all... I just couldn't resist.

I wish i was on the loser list this week but unfortunately I gained .8 of a pound. I'm back working out every day and I am so incredibly sore. I didn't think I was going to make it to the gym tonight but I pushed myself and I'm a very sore little girl. I guess no one said this was going to be easy.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
