HAHA.. Me too! We had to get married in order for me to move to Singapore with him. I've managed not to tell my family or MOH, so I won't tell if you don't =)

Whoa! Yes, I'd not be a big fan of this either. However, since your FI was okay with it, I'd try to let it roll off my back. As for the FMIL's dress, let's hope people don't ask "Who's the Cougar bridesmaid?" LOL! Sorry for the bad joke, just trying to make light of the things our families do without asking "for" our wedding...

As for my confession, I MAY have accidentally thrown away a box of old photos of my FI and his old girlfriend from medical school that I found when we were moving him into our new loft. I have never been fond of her (even though we've never met). smile27.gif I must say that trashing those photos brought a little smile to my face. But again, I have no independent recollection of throwing away those photosmsnwink.gif

I have 2 confessions...

1. I have no idea why I have two banners...one "senior member" and one "member"

2. I have not been on BDW much lately...only to check in on my subscribed threads & the occasional check in the new threads. I feel like I am neglecting the recent brides & not checking in to see how their weddings went - I'm so sorry!!!

I have two:

I think my FMIL & FGMIL are a little on the tacky side and tried to tacky up our original wedding at home so my fiance and I decided it was best to have a destination wedding (greatest decision ever)

I really really want to demote my useless MOH but since we've been besties since high school that's not really an option at this point

It really does feel better to let it out!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
